Stood next to a tree to get some cover, cute, asian girl with an umbrella approaches me, asks me in english where I want to go and if I want to walk there with her. Me being in Germany, out in the wild and her english being so perfectly natural that I just understand her without any active effort of having to think about what she's saying results in it never making click in my brain that she's currently speaking english. So I respond to her in german because duh, I'm out in the streets in Germany, not on the web and so I walk next to her like that. After about another roughly 60 seconds I realize "holy shit wait, she was talking english" and I'm too embarassed to say anything from that point on.
Awkward might as well be my 2nd name. Emnjay has nothing on me with turtle stories

oh since you mentioned Matsuoka a while ago... I know I linked this for Kaze and Elem when I found it but idk if you were around:
personal recommendations: ~08:30: him opening the bottle, a bit of talk into downing the whole glass because no manager around 30:00: Kayanon pretending to be a weeb (with english as well as weeb japanese!) as well as him suddenly mentioning the cinema by name resulting in huge shock on his part
I liked the first three episodes of Tsuki ga Kirei, but the rest has felt kinda mediocre. I wasn't very fond of the last arc. Koutarou is pretty decent but Akane is frustratingly passive.
Sukasuka has been pretty decent. Can't say I care for the main duo and their relationship, but I like the lore and a lot of the other characters.
Gundam Thunderbolt s2 has been pretty disappointing. s1 had a very clear theme, but I don't know what they're going for this time around. The writing has suffered a lot: the new girl is waaaay too plot convenient, and the whole mental regression thing is kinda shallow. + Show Spoiler +
I also don't know what purpose the reintroduction of the old female officer is supposed to serve.
With one episode left, I don't have a lot of hope. Design-wise, I don't really care for Atlas. I guess Full Armor Gundam was also kinda ridiculous looking, so nothing's really changed on that front. The aquatic focus is unique, but I don't know if I really like it. That said, I really like what they've done with the Acguy custom equipment. A lot of the details are pretty neat. The animation has been good, but there hasn't been anything on par with the guncam footage or indirect beam saber stuff they showed in s1. Those scenes were actually amazing.

You could always come and join the dark side. That way you could enjoy the dark and gritty edge of despair and talking to me about it at the same time. Being pushed into a psycholgical downward spiral is the best way to enjoy animu anyways.
