He's boring as a character. He doesn't seem to have any flaws (yet), which makes him extremely dull to watch. He's also one of the most predictable characters in the whole show. | ||

While Reinhard can understand if you explain it to him 3 times, Kircheis will certainly never accept such a thing. Now that both civil wars are over, we can finally get back to more interesting battles. It's not like I didn't predict that Reinhard would crush the rebels and Yang fix the coup d'état... Anyone would have predicted that actually. | ||

+ Show Spoiler [Rant] + Season 1 was great, Season 2 had a good start but was going a bit downhill towards the end, and here comes the movie and completely ruins the plot for the entire series... First of all, the movie felt veeery rushed, they could've easely made it into a 12 ep show, whitout adding anything extra, just adding a few more pauses for effect. + Show Spoiler [Story] + And then when it comes to the story, metallic beeings from jupiter that assimilate with everything and learn to immitate/counter? I'm sure I've seen that before... And the enemies never talked, so there was never that subtle political debate that Gundam usually has. And literally the 5 last minutes of the movie were preatty much: + Show Spoiler [Ending] + *Setsuna opens eyes after beeing affected by serius brain injury and says right away:"I'm going out in the Qan[T]! ... I don't want to fight! Trans-AM! ... They were just looking for a new home, a big misunderstanding" -The end- If they had only come a bit further in memory erasing technology... /rant -_- | ||

+ Show Spoiler [moar TTGL] + Well I finished it. After Kamina died at the end of episode 8, it started to slowly go uphill. I still kinda have an issue with 1-sided battles and the 4 generals being fodder, but at least Simon stopped being a whiny little bitch and actually manned up a bit. I still don't know what to think about the 2nd big arc (space), but at least people died. I also like how Yoko lost Kamina and Simon lost Nia. The cheese kept on flowing and overflowing but I gave up on complaining about that after the so much needed Kamina death and just accepted it as an integral part of the show -.-; . God I hated that guy so damn much. So. Damn. Much. (But I have to give credit where credit is due - that fag was the catalyst for the whole story, including later events after his death) As I'm writing this I keep thinking about the plot. Spiral energy and the like. Can't decide if the show just isn't the "plot centric" type, or did they just decide to put less emphasis on the plot and make it more about the battles. Feels like the whole anime is just a sequence of battles 1 after another. Flashy, with lots of explosions and cheesy lines that make you facepalm with a smile on your face. The anime got a bit tiring and repetitive at some points, but I guess the plot was never meant to be it's strong point anyway. If it wasn't for the first 8 episodes, I'd probably rate it a 9, but I just can't let go of it. Anyway, how's Mahou Shoujo Madoka and Yumekui Merry? Freezing? | ||
