The Einst are finally starting to do something in the anime. And the preview... If the preview isn't trolling, we get Daizengar next week. HOLY SHIT CANNOT WAIT PLZ COME FASTER NEXT WEEEK. | ||

Gosick: + Show Spoiler + Should get more interesting as it goes on. I'm gonna keep watching for Victorique :3. Did anyone else immediately think of the narwhal song when they saw Grevil? Yumekui Merry: + Show Spoiler + Meh. The first half was kinda unbearable (I don't like the male lead so far). Merry seems like an interesting character though. Hopefully this show gets better. Character design was really good though. And the cat guy's weapon was badass. It was like a saw combined with a portable guillotine. | ||

Gothic loli is nice, intelligent and looks very good. Main character dude is not annoying and pretty much okay. The inspector is strange. Story sounds interesting, but the first "murder mystery" should have been solved by everybody before Victorique said anything. I hope later mysteries are more complex (maybe Conan style). + Show Spoiler + I think we'll see more of the legends and fairy tales from the book. They've found the Queen Berry already, heh. I wonder why they keep the loli locked away though, poor girl. Edit: And the ending song is fantastic. Can't wait for the soundtrack release for this one. | ||

TTGL and Code Geass only point where they overlap is the mechas and imo they both did that part pretty good. It should be obvious that TTGL takes a lot of parodies and you should not take that anime dead serious. Some might like those over the top, corny lines and cheesy story anime like TTGL and take them serious. I for myself have to laugh most of the time or facepalm but I still enjoyed it. Considering the story, I kidn of have to agree that TTGL's story is more fit to an audience with a slighly ( no idea how to write that  ) younger age then Code Geass. An easy black and white story makes it easier to follow. | ||

Yes, I'm very serious. I don't really want to list all the "wtf that was retarded" parts of Geass R2, since I've done that previously in this thread. Consensus when I did that, was Geass was a show where you are supposed to not care about things like all of the Black Knights dressing up like Zero to get exiled (including animals), or the Emperor transforming into a rocket, and just enjoy the show for the ridiculous "plot twists" and such. Personally I disagree with that view of the show, but whatever. But regardless, my point is that both Gurren Lagann and Code Geass are ridiculous animes that require turning your brain off to 'lol' at, or in certain cases go 'DAT WUZ AWESOME'. The fact that he would criticize and hate one show for being silly, and apparently love the other, is something that completely baffles me. At least R2 had a cohesive plot. lol It made less sense than Gurren Lagann's plot. And btw, if this was an anti-conformist thread, then everyone in here would hate Gurren Lagann as well, since its also insanely popular. | ||

Also I saw a Rick Dom, or at least a Rick Dom look alike, in trailer. Lol I wonder if there will be a Jet Stream Attack? On further research, it is more likely to be a Dreissen, which was based on the Rick Dom | ||

CHRIST Julian is annoying, I really hope he dies. Unfortunately, the show has spent so much damn time building him up as someone important without him doing shit that he's probably going to survive a while longer. I have a bad feeling Yang is going to die (although not for a while, the empire needs to invade at least), and Julian will be his successor or something. Although that's probably way down the road /speculation | ||
