I have no idea what's going on. Cute girls, but it seems like every single one is an anime trope and there's no rhyme or reason or even hook to make me care. So maybe next episode. | ||

Exactly, however I'm worried considering people are saying the adaption sucks badly. Maybe not.  Handa-kun ep1 was extremely different from Barakamon, which was quite expected. Was worse than I thought, the 1st half sucked. 2nd half was decent but not that funny as well. Probably gonna have some better episodes though. | ||

If it's a new route, I guess people are just dissatisfied with it then? Idk if it's easy to see that it's a new route or just rushed / a mix of the routes if you've played the game. | ||

The common route of the VN is like 8-10 hours long and the anime has to cover that in 6-7 episodes hence why it feels rushed to VN readers. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I didn't know urobuchi wuxia was airing this season. I liked the first episode and can't wait for more. Toriumi and suwabe voicing the main two male characters reminds me of dies irae which is pretty funny. I wonder if the butcher will make this dark or if it will be more straightforward like expelled from paradise. My main problem with this is that the subs use the Chinese names while the Japanese dub says something else. It's really bad and jarring. I wonder if this will be similar to kikokugai in any way since that was also a wuxia story by urobuchi during his early days. Amanchu + Show Spoiler + nice animation, don't know if it will live up to aria though Alderamin + Show Spoiler + Not sure if I could have asked for a better adaption of the first chapter. Trimmed all the unnecessary parts but took time with the important parts. Also taneda risa in a main role is great. 91 days + Show Spoiler + So this is like a baccano inspired show or something? I know some readers are disappointed in that but it's not a problem. They are expecting it to copy the game when they shouldn't have expected it at all. I wouldn't say it's rushed. I think the first episode was more for people who have read the game though with all the references they put. Common route needs to be trimmed after all. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + So far, I like Griffith and the rest of the side characters. Guts and Casca and good on their own but man their ongoing dispute is so frustrating to watch. It's a lot of starring, not talking about anything and occasional out bursts of anger. And then they are wondering why the other person acts that way? For more than 3 fucking years? Seriously... Generally it's bloody. The fights are ok because they are rather short because the animation is rather weak. Lots of repeated moments and very bad choreography. It's strangely compelling though so I'm looking forward how the characters will develop and how the story will unfold. Need more Naru in my life. You might like Amaama to Inazuma then, it had a very good first episode and while not the same there are a lot of similarities. I also think you'd probably like 91 days out of the new animes this season. | ||

The common route is written with a very specific goal in mind, and the short amount of time they have to go about doing this in the anime is insufficient. They're adapting all the jokes, but the pacing screws up the foreshadowing. | ||

91 days : Oh, another mafia anime! Hopefully, it doesn't crash like Gansta  The Outcast : At first, I was surprised by the Chinese name. And then, I realized it was a Chinese anime! Zombies, so maybe it can be good. The MC is doing too many cartoon faces, so I don't think it's going to be a serious show. Taboo Tatoo was ok. I remember reading some of the Manga chapters a few years ago, but I've dropped it, don't remember why... What shows are you guys most looking for this season? | ||
