he doesn't like the reset and was really concerned in the previous arc about what'll happen if he reset one more time. He's annoying, yes, very annoying and quite obsessive but he's also quite flawed as stated above. Are there any drawbacks to casting magics? Can a melee assassin get close to a mage? but it's fun anyway to speculate ^^ | ||

He can't control his time reset easily, but I'm sure the plot will always allow himself to be reset in a more convenient time. He won't need to apologize to Emilia or purple hair because he won't have to. The only consequences he doesn't like that follows him are his mental state so yes it is about Subaru going insane with nobody around that can really help him. Has yet to have actual consequences follow him which is part of the reason he has such an inflated ego and thinks he can do everything. | ||

I thought he had gotten a little back on track at the end of the last arc but nope it was just buried a bit because of his success and there was nothing going on during that time. Last couple of episodes its all coming back out. As to Blackmagister's point, you are correct + Show Spoiler + he does have a bit of a "I can do anything" attitude because of his previous successes. He is worried about the resets though, either they stopping or having the checkpoint moved up too far. I suspect this will happen because its a fairly easy way to show consequences. Someone will die or something bad will happen and his reset won't bring him to before it happened. Obligatory Rem is awesome. | ||

But I'm just not a fan of this show starting out about being rehab for MC (hence first 2 episodes nice) and then turning into Drama between everything else. Heck even the supporters had an episode for themselves so far and by itself that would be perfectly fine. But with all the other "omg I hate you stupid bitch! I'm gonna grab your bag to get you real good!" highschool drama it just feels silly how this basicly turned into everyone BUT the MC needing help... While I was at the aforementioned supporter-episode the OST downright annoyed me. They have this, usually pretty nice piano only playing in the background but at some point it's just too much | ||
