+ Show Spoiler + dafuq, they give Kennosuke a shock collar, but not the guy they took prisoner. He's still wearing it too! However retardedly unexpected it was for him to break his own hands to escape the cuffs, felt like they could've still given him the shock collar. | ||

To be fair though, it's because the guy is being held as a prisoner in a secure facility so they didn't really need one (seeing how fast he moved during his escape, probably wouldn't have helped either lol) while Kennosuke was allowed to live outside with the MC's family so the collar was in case he does anything. | ||

Ok, so haven't seen all of them. Shinsekai yori, Kemonozume and Humanity has declined are still on your ptw. All three are kind of abstract in the way they approach the darker sides of human nature compared to Monster. They are all pretty good and unique in their own way though. Sinsekai yori also takes quite a few episodes to get going. I think the first 9 episodes or so are mostly world-building. | ||
