Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex could also be up your alley. Satoshi Kon movies have been mentioned by Spazer. LotGH, which has been mentioned, is an amazing show but it doesn't really fit into the scheme you posted. Oh and try out Serial Experiments Lain. It's actually a show I wouldn't mind if parents show them to their kids. It's kind of cute and funny at times and teaches some basic stuff that kids in elementary school or kindergarten should know. It's a bit irritating to watch as an adult though when those things are explained as if they are something groundbreaking. | ||

Also the FSN quote is taken incredibly heavily out of context and is not at all stupid once put into the right context. I mean shirou says plenty of idiotic shit so i never got why this quote in particular had to be taken out of context to portray him as an idiot. + Show Spoiler + Shirou is talking about how people die when they are killed, or how that is atleast how it should be but he himself managed to survive multiple fatal wounds due to the protection of avalon. It's all tied back into his survivor's guilty. And in the fate route he's torn apart and basically killed more than just once, but survives because of avalon and rin. The actual quote is "People die if they are killed. Atleast that's how it should be." | ||
