Everything until episode 24 has its reasons to be, unlike the end which i didn't like since it's not really in the spirit of the serie (do the impossible!). But since most people like a lot the ending, imho no one should drop it in the first half. Do you mean the last episode? Or the last twelve or so?

Especially the second half of episode 26. + Show Spoiler + Also, Simon is a wandering traveller because he chooses to be. The movie is a lot better with that.

+ Show Spoiler + Hey, Count Mariendorf was present at the Kastrop Rebellion? I didn't realize that was when he was introduced. Wahlen was around this early as well? Honestly the first time I remember him doing something was + Show Spoiler + when he lead that fleet to Earth, Also, with this rebellion where they used Zephyr Particles to destroy those satelites, keep them in mind. The use of Zephyr Particles forces various... situations in the future that made me go o_O when I first watched it. Hilda gets a very subtle introduction too. This seems to be a theme so far, with subtle introductions lol

IMO it wasn't well explained enough in certain parts where they are fight hand-to-hand with battle axes rather than lasers, is because Zephyr Particles would blow everything up if they fired lasers. Has anyone watched Mazinkaiser SKL yet? The first episode got an early release. This show is crazy. Also completely unrelated to previous Mazinger shows. Its like they take Mazinkaiser, give it a really evil-looking redesign, and then have the show be extremely violent with very over the top fights. And the 2 main characters are just as batshit insane as Ryoma from Getter Robo too lol

My god, Fork is so retarded it hurts just thinking about it. The supply lines are safe because they're behind the frontlines? WTF. It's hard enough to defend a supply line in 2D space. Defending an area in 3D space is practically impossible unless you dedicate a ton of resources solely for defense. There's just too many approach vectors to account for. It seems that half the council is composed of idiots as well. It's pretty clear that half the council consists of stupid people who are making decisions just to get reelected (especially that woman. I hate her so much). Trunicht may have ulterior motives, but at least he's smart. -_- I like that Napoleon's invasion of Russia during the war of 1812 was mentioned. In case you didn't know, basically the French army was just crushing the Russians, but while retreating, the soldiers would burn the fields so that the French would be unable to forage for food easily. Hence why it's referred to as a "scorched earth" tactic. The Russians went so far as to have the majority of the population of Moscow destroy all the food stores in the city before evacuating. It was pretty crazy stuff. ![]() How on earth do the ships balance like that? It seems physically impossible...
