And that countdown ends about 1am (CDT) on Sunday. Guess who's staying up late Saturday night.

Reduce down from making 200+ low budget shows per year to like 80-90 medium-high budget shows per year, I think that would be better. Though that would mean 2006 is the year the industry went complete downhill.

Too much competition, not enough of a market-->tons of low quality stuff.

It's the production committees that want that many shows. New studios were made to go along with the increased demand from wanting more shows.

That doesn't seem logical from an outsiders point of view but the addition of studios following the increasing demand definitely makes more sense than new studios just coing out of the blue. I can see you being right on the money here... The problem either way is that, in this state, reducing the number of shows will result in more studios going bankrupt. On the other hand, I can't imagine this system to run stable, with so many shows being produced, infinitely.

http://www.someanithing.com/3059 DxD didn't drop as hard in sales as i thought it would after the disaster that was season 3, here's hoping a possible season 4 isn't as big a disaster Arslan is doing way way way better than i thought it was doing sales-wise, did it have event tickets or something? I thought it was sub 1k average DRRR dropping way harder in sales from volume to volume than i thought, especially considering the first seasons sales, guess they waited too long before relasing more Also outside of volume 1 owari no seraph also sold way way less than i had expected, for some reason i thought it'd hit 5-6k average, i didn't think it was good but i expected it was something that'd sell due to fujoshi money Also, so many shows i'm waiting for BD releases for ![]()

@Unleashing - So it wasn't just me that felt DRRR was taking way too long to release BD volumes. Any idea why their schedule is so delayed? Arslan I've only found like 1/2 vols, are there more? Also DxD not dropping makes sense. You still got high res uncensored titties which people will buy regardless of content imo. + Show Spoiler [Owari] + Do people really prefer 8-kun over Sf? Dam that whole thing after she played Itaru's recording was just too much man. Best doll.

Not by a lot and I liked s1 more than s2 but it being at 4-6k is kind of surprising for me Owari no Seraph: Yeah sure Hayamin was great and all... but 6666 (lol that number) ? The other vols are more in line with what I expected. For me perhaps still a bit high if anything. Junketsu no Maria: Not surprising at all, I knew the sales were garbage but I think that's surprising for a lot of other people in here. It was really popular in ADT but apparently completly tanked in JP or atleast outside of ADT. Souma: Now THAT'S surprisingly low oO 2.5k ? really? Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku: whyyyyy,. What's wrong with Japan? On the big things... everyone knew that Idols, boats sell like crazy and that fujoshi's buy like crazy. A bit suprising to see OreGairu only on 13k but that's still in line with what I expected. With the ending being what it was, that problably hurt them. Oh and Katou-god's show is selling better than shitty KyoAni melodrama. Suck it guys :3
