I'm new to the whole torrenting thing, so I usually watch finished series. So I normally clock twelve or so eps a day, because I have nothing better to do (the next semester of school doesn't start until January). Edit: Some days though, I don't watch anything and just read manga for twelve hours. um.... you realize that 12-13 episodes = one whole season? >.> I don't know, I don't really watch anime anymore... I "skim through" anime . I watch everything in 2x,3x,4x speed on VLC. I don't know I see anime extremely differently through that view, maybe because I don't catch everything now, (I mean in backgrounds I still get char development and dialogue). I've found that with lots to do, this is how I'll probably watch it for the rest of my life, unless its a really enjoyable anime, then I'll watch it normally, but until then =/. Also to add to that, I watch about 5 eps a day at least @ that speed so just under 1/2 an hour to an hour. Why the hell would you want to watch any anime at 2x speed or greater? I wouldn't even be able to stand doing that I like it at a faster pacing, as seriously I don't really give a care about people walking or talking in most anime, I find most of them extremely uninteresting, but I'd still like to finish them, as some of them do have surprises or something nice @ the end. I mean even if you look at the ratings a lot of anime vary, (I watch almsot everything in a season while being an extremely school heavy IB student). If you want to gripe to me about the voice acting or the clear crisp animation, I get your point, but not all anime I watch have these. If you wanna talk about the story and saying I'm not enjoying or getting it as much, I dare you to. Its the same reason I like reading manga over watching anime, I can view it at my own pace. I have the luxury to be able to be like... okay I wanna go here. With sped up viewing of anime, it can keep to the pace that I'm more attuned to.

I did my best to weed out the repetitive ones and the troll ones, but just be aware that the quality of these charts can vary widely. + Show Spoiler +

Hello, You recently posted some large images in this thread. The maximum size for images on our forums is 590 pixels wide. By posting images larger than this, you are causing longer load times and wasted CPU and bandwidth. Please consider resizing your images next time, or use the 'Upload Image' feature in the message composition window as this will automatically host and resize your images to fit the forums. Thanks. But the Upload Image feature stopped working halfway through so I had to switch. T_T

That the creator was trying to troll people isn't entirely out of the question, considering where these charts come from.

I MEAN SERIOUSLY WTF NICE BOAT
I'm looking forward to Beelzebub, Freezing, Level E, Oniichan, since I did like the manga. Might watch a couple of the other fantasy/action series.

This is /a/ and /jp/ we're talking about.

I haven't watched that many anime but here are the ones (in no particular order) that I watched and enjoyed a lot: Last Exile - Really cool combination of drawn art and 3D CGI with great characters and story.
Eureka Seven - Very good all-round
Gurren Lagann - Haha, very unique ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWA
Cowboy Bebop - This one some people swear by, I liked it but didn't love it.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion -Extremely cool concept and great all-round.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 -Season 2! Just as good as the first one.
.hack//Legend of the Twilight -I loved the concept of the .hack// series and it really drew me in.
.hack//Roots -My favourite season of the .hack// series
.hack//Sign -Another great season!
Gunslinger Girl -Pretty good, not too outstanding but very enjoyable.
Sora no Otoshimono -OH GOD WHY. It is possibly the most over-the-top insanely silly thing I've ever seen and yet... I love it and despite it CLEARLY being aimed as an all-male audience that is just a bunch of drooling retards you come to care a lot for the characters and story (when they are actually doing shit with the story and not a billion boobs/panty episode, but who cn complain about that?).
Sora no Otoshimono Forte -Yeah they made a second season, and it's even more ridiculous than the first. Apparently they are making a movie now too! T.T If you're experimental check out these 2 seasons, otherwise see the others previous on the list.

Half those Animes I haven't even heard of. That is one obscure list you posted Spazer. Few good recommendations in there, but for those of you who don't want to read through the entire post. It basically tries to avoid listing mainstream "amazing/popular" Anime. They are here and there if you look... but if you don't even watch Anime and want to start getting into stuff, I wouldn't recommend picking stuff out of there.

I'm also into the .hack// stuff, but imo their anime department is very lacking (compared to the depth like in the games)
Roots is the best of the 3. yep.
but the games .hack// > anime .hack// also: movie .hack//G.U. > anime .hack// and while we're at it game .hack// > movie .hack//G.U.
though there's a new .hack// out (.hack//Quantum iirc) but I haven't found out how to watch it.....

I can't wait for Kimi ni Todoke next season. I seriously can't. I love shojo and cutesy romance.

No love for Toradora! ? Best sentimental anime out there, top Kare Kano and it's up there with Maison Ikkoku (even if MI isn't that watchable today) for me.

I watched it, but the ending was completely WAT. Had a good cast of support characters though; Ami, Inko-chan, Yasuko and student prez.

I actually haven't played the games, scary I know. I keep meaning to... However a new .hack// ? Oh man, I'll definitely keep a look out for it. Glad to see other fans of the series here though ^.^ they don't seem to get mentioned enough.
