I love every anime. I watched "a lot" of them so I am litterally out of them. have to be comedy or have action no super slow anime without anything happening: example: summer's day
semi-dislike: no ecchi based comedy so don't give me fan-service based anime like MM. I watched too many of them but if you got a good one Ill still take a look Big nono: -no incest -romance cannot be main plot (like suzuka), romance can be part of story but main storyline as to be something else -no gore (elfen lied comes to mind) -no Yaoi or shonen-ai -no cry baby also Im not really into weak main character that crys a lot (Letter bee main character annoys me) -no cute-sy main character)Nabari no Ou main character annoys me) -no pretty boy anime made for girls(hard to explain its the feeling when you get that the guy is supposed to be perfect and "cool") -cannot to be tragic or sad, I perfer upbeat anime like K-ON -anime style cannot be too old -no horror-based
Also do not recommend too popular or famous anime basically everything on animenfo top 200 as I probably watched them all.
Currently trying to watch darker than black, will look into full metal pani... seen every thing else on the list .
Yeah DTB is great, season one was perfect and the opening song is awesome.
I should warn you though, season two ends very abrubtly, right when the interesting stuff starts to happen (this isn't really spoiler). I hope they'll make a season 3 because we didn't get an actual ending imo.
I pretended the story for DtB ended after season 1. Season 2 was a giant letdown.
how can you dislike LIVING THE DREAM
@Insanious: Some good fantasy: Orphen, Rune Soldier, Record of Lodoss War, Vampire Hunter D, Slayers for older stuff, Legend of Legendary Hero, uwatermeromemo (sp? good luck googling my spelling) for newer.
Kaze no stigma (mediocre plot, awesome protag) Rahxephon (similar to Eva) Outlaw Star (space) Cowboy Bebop (space - same director/creator of Samurai Champloo) People have liked Heroic Age (space, mech) but I thought the pacing was slow and dropped it around 8 eps in.
Also anyone who hasn't seen School Days should.
Haha, I guess DtB S2 wasn't that bad, it just didn't match the hype of S1.
And Kaze no Stigma has a awesome protag? As in that tsundere girl......?
But I would also second the recommendation for Kaze no Stigma, but ONLY if you are extremely bored and have not seen any of his other recommendations below, which are far better than KnS by leaps and bounds.
Seems like you didn't watch the entire thing? Not sure how you could mistake pinkhair for the protag.
Can't wait for fate/zero anime, hopefully it turns out good, as the FSN anime was mediocre, but FSN anime didn't just stick to one route and Fate/Zero is a novel. Though what's with the poster? Arcueid isn't in F/Z

Yea, I just watched so many. Like one summer in middle school, I litterally watched about 60 series(about a series a day). Even though I watched a lot, some of my friend were able to recommand me some ones I haven't seen like Kekkaishi and History strongest Disciple Kenichi. Those might be popular but I actually never seen them before until this year. I am willing to look at any anime I havent seen before if you got one yout think its good Ill take a good.
I am looking for a no complete romance as main story, tragic, yaoi, gore/horror. and too old anime style(I think anything 1990+ is good)
name a good anime you seen and hopefully I haven't seen it thx Im so bored Ill litterally try anything. I am mainly looking for animes in the 1990-2005 era as anything later I am almost certain I seen.

That poster should just be for Take Moon, which is supposed to get an anime too by aniplex.
MY BODY IS READY
edit: I watch maybe average 1 ep per day since I rarely follow more than 7 series every season, more if I'm watching an older series I haven't seen before, but I haven't marathoned anything in a while. I used to read alot of manga but that well's been dry for a while.

I watched SEED in like 3 days too, but during the week when I had school lol. But to be fair I watched them streamed. Still that's me coming home from school anime/eat/animeanime/sleep for 3 days xD
Is Special A any good?
I did it over a Weekend, so I had a bit more free time lol. Destiny took longer for me to finish, due to reasons related to its quality.
Caff did you ever watch New Getter Robo, since you said you would watch it if I watched OreImo?
I meant to post Amagami tbh. If I have time I'll grind through it, it's xmas break after all. Not making any promises tho T-T

Well its pretty much done now, I'll consider it. One of my friends who shares alot of my taste in anime said it was alright, so maybe.

S2 and S3 had a different studio that did them than S1.

I'm new to the whole torrenting thing, so I usually watch finished series. So I normally clock twelve or so eps a day, because I have nothing better to do (the next semester of school doesn't start until January).
Edit: Some days though, I don't watch anything and just read manga for twelve hours.
um.... you realize that 12-13 episodes = one whole season? >.>

I don't know, I don't really watch anime anymore... I "skim through" anime . I watch everything in 2x,3x,4x speed on VLC. I don't know I see anime extremely differently through that view, maybe because I don't catch everything now, (I mean in backgrounds I still get char development and dialogue). I've found that with lots to do, this is how I'll probably watch it for the rest of my life, unless its a really enjoyable anime, then I'll watch it normally, but until then =/. Also to add to that, I watch about 5 eps a day at least @ that speed so just under 1/2 an hour to an hour.

It sounds like you should watch a fifth as much anime and stick to stuff that's actually good.
Since people keep asking for recommendations I'll post this list again: + Show Spoiler +

Why the hell would you want to watch any anime at 2x speed or greater?
