The only thing weird about the char designs is that they are using that style (must be the studio) that makes them all so fucking pale most of the time they look like vampires. | ||

Wether it's him or not isn't even the point, from Flamie's PoV we know: 1) She thinks it's him in 99% of the cases 2) He tried to talk his way out of it with some explanation when alone with her twice already and has been told that there are major flaws in his tinfoil theories 3) After the 2nd time he resorts to fearmongering and scaretactics rather than actually try to convince her of his innocence It makes absolutely no sense to come to the conclusion that MC is trying to protect Flamie from her PoV. None at all. If she is indeed 99% sure about him (granted, it could have gone down) she has to acknowledge that there are two ways to interpret what he said and she just picked the one that doesn't fit with what she thinks about him because!?!? Literally she let him go because she at that time was only 99% sure about it and wants to make up her mind or get a better idea to judge wether her judgement of the situation is correct. She gets a scene that makes it only more likely that it's indeed him and she... just doesn't realize that thus, flamie the standard innocent guy/girl who just has the dumbs imo | ||

She is more calculating and flexible. What he says IS true, that she will be killed next if Adelt dies and isn't the 7th. Her not killing him gives her time to think and plan in case he isn't (and gives him time to clear his name). They still have some time so if she isn't convinced by w/e his solution is then she can just kill him anytime since to her he acts weird and makes himself vulnerable to her all the time. I also happen to know how this all shakes out (and some minor added details) from reading the LNs hue. | ||

It just doesn't make a lot of sense to come to the conclusion that it is the first one from where she is at. Maybe I'm putting too much into what she said afterwards but it DID sound like she started to think he's less likely the 7th after that conversation. He could have just not met with her instead, so it wasn't a move to survive but a move to influence her. Granted, that failed so he changed plans to "crap I need to get out, no matter how" and because of that she ends up saying she wants to believe him? :/ in the end it's probably more an issue with the author than with her. It makes perfect sense to wait in her situation like you said and I agree with that. I just don't think her change of heart besides the tactical decision to wait makes sense at that point in time | ||
