And I just finished S2 of Aria. I'm really, really enjoying it now. Some episodes were simply relaxing or even a bit boring, but there's a lot of them that ended up being flat out great. | ||

but i got just a 1 tb one coz i cant be fucked with the risk of it randomly breaking (i got the cheap samsung external which has shit reviews on amazon) it also means i can download the enormous live idol concerts and all the shit that i watch 1 ep of then dont bother to watch more of until months later | ||

What is this madness! How much GB is that? : O Just watched PP-Movie. Decent enough (especially for the Psycho Pass fans). Did they mention any season 3 or more movies? The ending suggested more :O | ||

Nobody cares if the story is shit, if the characters are a bunch of lines, if the animation itself is bullcrap, if fights are badly choreographed etc. As long as it looks flashy on first sight it's good. As for PP, I think it's good, s1 was very good imho. But they also lose so much potential they have with their universe (which is pretty well set imho) because they are trying to cater to a certain audience that appreciate things that appear deep on the surface. Like "omg they made remarks about a dystopian society and quoted some philosoph, so deep". What matters is the implementation of these things and how the show elaborates on them. Simply stating them doesn't make a work of art great but it seems to be exactly what a lot of people like. I would argue though whether it was really better/different 10 years ago because I obviously have no experience nor knowledge in this regard. | ||

Anime was a lot smaller 10 years ago. There were no legal methods to stream stuff so everyone that watched either got it for a friend or downloaded it themselves so the base was a lot more hardcore and a lot more casual at the same time. It's the same as now really. Nothing ever fucking changes. | ||

Its a constantly changing medium. There are clear differences in shows from the 70s, to the 80s, 90s, and 00s. Whats better or not just comes down to preference I guess. I personally favor the 1980s, so think how I feel when people won't watch anything older than from 2010 lol. | ||
