Agreed. At least they told us that there are other fortresses around the world and that the girl that is coming is from russia (?). But I totally agree with the hopelessness: I mean the setting tells you mankind is at the edge of extinction. Yet there is a powerful squad that acts consequential like everything is a game. It doesn't feel like anything can beat them and they will always save the day.

white girl knows something the rest doesn't. I'd guess it's something along the lines of they have to fight until it's halfdead and when it can't move anymore 1 of the 6 has to "seal" it somehow and needs to kill/sacrifice the other 5 for that. Thus whitey saying that redhairs will try to kill her later on

But yeah i don't really dislike any of them.

The black haired knight guy told us that she was the braves killer, which is why they attacked her. Red haired strongest man guy doesn't know she is the braves killer, so white haired gun girl assumes when he finds out he will fight with her too. At least that's my take on it. I don't think any of these characters will die for at least a few more episodes, since they were just introduced and we are getting character development and they want to kill each other so obviously they won't be able to kill each other in typical anime fashion. Once we meet the other two braves things should get more interesting. Maybe redhaired strongest man brave will get his wish of everyone getting along for a little while or they might retreat and meet up later at the meeting place they are supposed to meet up at. I don't foresee anything possibly going wrong with the fog illusion barrier system and that lieutenant guy will definitely come through for them. The bunny princess brave girl is cute but also way too naive I think she'll die first unfortunately =[

well that much is obvious. It doesn't explain why whitey started violent on the other ones before them though. So her innitial idea that the rest wants to kill her has to stem from something else.
Also there was that time when she asked redhairs for that favor. Again made it sound like there is something else beyond that that holds true even without the knowledge of her wanting to kill other people.
