DUDE WTF WAS THAT! I was like standing up through most of the episode yelling HOLY SHIT, or YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? I knew it was gonna happen but i still stood up. Damn that made me react at lot. That totally makes up for all that BS they put on earlier in the series. I guess I was laughing too cause I knew what was gonna happen and that the characters didn't All i could think was big shit is going down. I feel weird now :/ And its funny also cause this girl in my class today was like mind blown by my teacher explaining some physics and she kept saying "Hold the phone", everytime she got mind blown lol
Even though it was posted already, I'm fond of this particular combination of pictures.
Sora would be the best girl / arc even without the twincest. Sadly only one episode remaining and we get a stupid cliffhanger ending in this one. (They should have locked the door.)
It was a surprise that they handled the sex scenes rather well this time. At least they didn't looked as stupidly forced as the other ones (first arc comes to mind).
I just finished watching Death Note and omg did i love it. Now im going to be starting either Elfen Lied or Serial Experiments Lain. Which one do you guys think i should start with.

Both are pretty fucked up so it doesn't make too much of a difference which one you start with.

1st time i watch Elfen Lied i was extremely offended since im not a big fan of horror type T_T... later i watched it again i guess it was ok. I prefer Death Note @ the mind fucked actions more than the horror side of it so i dont know how you feel.

Ep 12 is supposed to be the "good end", so they'll probably opt for some anime original ending instead of continuing along with the novels' storyline. They did say something about having multiple endings, didn't they?

No talks of streaming that I've heard of yet, so you'd have to wait till the dvd release next summer. It should be less than the wait for Bake if all goes well though.
And yeah an anime original ending seems likely, leaves enough time for them to work through vol5 w/ the dvd-only episodes.

They're really really different shows.
Elfen Lied is trashy horror fun. It's dumb, but I found it really entertaining. Basically, if you want a bloody, crazy anime with lots of nudity this is the one.
Serial Experiments Lain is a slow, abstract, really confusing, amazing show. It's not at all like Elfen Lied. If you're picking between them you should choose whether you want a really entertaining show that requires no thought or a really interesting one that requires lots of thought.
So Aniplex USA decided to import the Kara no Kyoukai Bluray box and sell it via RightStuf. it's pricey but a good deal compared to the Japanese retail price, even Amazon.jp's discounted price.
Who else is getting it? I had the chance to see Paradox Paradigm in HD in Anime Boston last year and it's just gorgeous. Can't wait.
some versions of the same bluray don't happen to have the same quality...
The german version (~29.9k ) of the same evangelion movie has less bitrate compared to the source version of it most notable difference would be like the HK version vs the source version of it ( ~20k bitrate vs ~31.5k bitrate )
I did the Amazon.jp preorder (need to cancel BTW) and the difference is about 60 USD more than RightStuf. Not counting shipping, and Fedex Express is pretty darn expensive.
In this case it looks like they are just importing it and selling it from a local distributor at a lower price. Considering how the dollar is just weak as hell atm, anything sold in dollars and not yen is a welcomed change =/

I like a show that makes me think and is somewhat of a mindfuck, but after watching one for 19 hours my brain needs a bit of a break lol so i would like one that takes less thinking but is still entertaining.
