Wouldn't having 60 fps on zooming / panning and having 24 fps on character movements and such just be odd? | ||

I'm a bit confused about the timeline between Owari no Chronicle and Horizon. I'm only on like the 4th chapter so if it gets explained more don't worry about answering :D. + Show Spoiler + They seem to say Tes/Testement in response which is what people do in Horizon for the testament union however it says it's 60 years after world war 2. That doesn't really fit in line with where they are in the history reenactment in Horizon. I'm assuming this is before the divine states collapsed but after they started doing the history reenactment or was the Testament union around before all of this? | ||

And if so doesnt it run on entire lenght of the video? Yeah the jump from 24 to 60fps seems kinda nice. change in panning is ok but I would like to see the difference where u add this effect to an action scene (say even UBW [lol yeah cus I have watched it]) and now Im curious... Still for some it still wont make difference (24 fps is the "average" framerate for human eye). And since theres no average human some people wont see the difference. Been playin on shitty Pc all life (games not running smooth enough 45+fps so Im keen on seeing it. ol also anything worth checking out this season and on upcoming one? besides ubw/yahari and please no "food porn" watched some awkward moment for 5 seconds and I know its not my kind of thing.. | ||

Don't know why people keep using this as a reasoning for keeping low frame rates in media. There are some legit arguments around live action choreography being designed and practiced for lower frame rates so now by increasing it the action feels more "fake" than it did before. Animation just becomes an issue of cost vs impact. If it costs double the amount of money to get more frames but only really increases the viewer experience by a small amount it's just not worth it. It is rather hard to actually quantify that though. Anyway the industry has been around low frame rate for so long that all the techniques we generally use have been tailored for that. I'm interested in what it will be like in 30-40 years when we are used to working with higher frame rates instead. @Miragee - Don't come crying to me later when you all attached to the granny. | ||

If you check the cover/back you'll see an icon with words like "Ahead", "Genesis", "City" etc, in an order. OnC belongs to Ahead series, Horizon to Genesis series. | ||
