What pisses me off about about 18 though was that the end of the Kyou/Tomoyo arcs seemed really rushed. I think that they both deservered their own four ep arcs. But oh well. I'll watch the OVA when I get around to it. And thank you for providing the name of the insert song. It was inevitable in retrospect; they couldn't have really done much with Kyou/Tomoyo's arc as they either + Show Spoiler +conclude with Tomoya becoming her boyfriend/Tomoya ALREADY being her boyfriend and staying with her , both of which conflict with the Nagisa ending. The same thing occured in both Kanon adaptations where Nayuki's arc (or at least the proper conclusion of it) was shafted in favor of the Ayu end. I personally want to see at least a Tomoyo After OVA as I have no present methods to access/play the original material; I hear the story's pretty good in Tomoyo After. That's why I hope all that type of anime genre can follow Amagami SS's precedence and be all arc formatted from now on

It's understandable; when I ask fellow CLANNAD fans/viewers who their favourite girl is, I rarely get "Nagisa" as an answer; Tomoyo and Kyou are pretty heavily favoured by a lot of fans, arguably for obvious reasons (though I personally don't understand the hype behind Tomoyo; I agree that she's somewhat interesting but I don't think she stands out anymore than the other girls do; she's comparable to Tachibana Kanade/Tenshi from Angel Beats! really: really popular for some reason).
Of course, nothing beats Fuko. Starfish power~. =p

It's a nice approach, but I actually enjoy seeing how creative the staff could be when trying to write around a single canon ending whilst trying to fit in everyone else's scenarios at the same time. In a lot of cases it ends up being a spectacular crash-and-burn (AkaSaka) but Kanon/CLANNAD have managed to do so without making too much of a mess, particularly the former, proving that it's doable and enjoyable all at the same time.
I don't mind that formula, but it's part of the reason as to why I dropped Yosuga no Sora; it just felt like an easy button in terms of creativity, but that's just my opinion. =/

Out of all the arcs, Fuko is probably my least favorite. Don't Hate...

Being a lolicon, Fuuko is my favorite too.
But I like Tomoyo most out of the..."mature" girls.

Nao's or Sora's? Both are pretty understandable when comes to detesting either (though the most common reason to hate the latter tends to be pretty biased).
On the other hand, I think the majority of viewers have been waiting for some twincest action since the beginning.

AkaSaka essentially just smashed Minato and tsundere route together though, not that much work. As for Yosuga no Sora, well lol, yay Sora route? =/
and HitoriTomoyo, you realize that Clannad is fully translated right.

where do you guys dl your anime? i used to use baka-updates but it keeps crashing every few days. i know there are sites like tokyo toshkan but they have non-english subs and raws mixed in which is annoying to sort through.

Considering the title of the series, I doubt anybody finds that too surprising.

I just download straight from the subbers themselves.

Everytime I think of how AkaSaka developed and concluded, I can only laugh. Tears slowly follow. T.T + Show Spoiler +It was cool to see Minato picked over Yuuhi (I think that was her name) but the way everything went just made me go aklsfjalkfhalwhflakhgalshfalghahgf;wtf.
I know CLANNAD's fully translated, but I'm wondering moreso about Tomoyo After's translation.

Clannad: Tomoyo > everyone else <3 LoGH: I'm currently rewatching the series, maybe I'll continue past a certain point this time. I just stopped there for a time, and a HD crash forced me to download the series again, a task I put off for a long time. I stopped + Show Spoiler +Something else, I wanted to rewatch Haruhi with someone who hasn't seen the series so far. Should we watch it in chronological or broadcast order? I watched Haruhi multiple times so far, but only once in broadcast order. The problem: We started with The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina and he said "I don't know if I want to watch this, looks stupid." I have a hard time convincing him otherwise and to try at least the next episodes. I would guess that chronological order would be best in this case, but I'm not sure. (He is not a long-time watcher of anime, but enjoyed most of the recommendations I've given him in the past.) + Show Spoiler +Kircheis's death was very sad, and after his death there is a short build-up period before the Empire comes up with a Lulzy plan to take Iserlohn. IMO you should continue, because I'm still hooked even after I shed manly tears of the Red-Haired Brat

Watching the Tomoyo OVA right now

Tomoyo After's translation project stalled I believe? Not gonna happen anytime soone.
Did AkaSaka even end up properly into Minato route? iirc they kind of just mashed Minato and Yuuhi route together and the protagonist didn't end up doing any real choosing.
All this talk is making me want to replay that game though, Nagomi beammmmm

Interview with the producer of Ore no Imouto:
Interviewer: The announcement of the series’ 15-episode run was made at yesterday’s “Ore no Imouto Festival”, but could you summarize it for us again?
To put it simply, there will be two versions of episode 12.
During episode 12, there will be a divergence (in the story’s route).
One of those versions will be the “Good End” that will be the TV run’s final episode.
Then, there will be another episode 12 that will continue until episode 15 and will be a new final episode.
What was the reason for choosing such a way to end the series?
Originally, it started with the desire to have people who watched the full 1-cour (standard 3-month ‘season’) TV series until the very end to think “That was a really good final episode!”
Then, the plans for the TV ending began to take on the shape of an eroge-like route system (wherein the player has access to many multiple endings.)
This (eroge-like split ending) idea actually fits in very well with the spirit of the original work, and so we hope that viewers can feel that this is very much “Ore no Imouto~”.
Regarding the distribution schedule of the new episodes 12-15, has the time and release date been set?
The specifics are entirely undecided.
However, as was announced at yesterday’s events, we are definitely thinking that we want to make for a free-watching period, during which anyone can watch them for free.
The dates are not set yet, but we we will try not to make for a long wait like what happened with Bakemongatari (referring to Bakemonogatari’s web-broadcast episodes, for which Iwakami also served as producer).
Well, the final episode of the TV run is finally drawing near, but can we please ask you for a message to the fans out there supporting the series? !
In the original light novels, Fushimi-sensei’s (author of the novels) feelings of “Funner! More interesting!” really flew out of the pages, didn’t they?
So as not to lose to that strong overeagerness-that’s a compliment!- all of us on the anime staff have tried to put the same gusto into our work.
Things like changing the OP every episode, that sort of stuff even gets me really worked up, and I’m the show’s producer.
Anyhow, there’s only really a small chunk of the series left. If everyone watching can enjoy each and everyone of the remaining episodes, we really could not ask for anything more than that. (http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2010/12/08/ore-no-imouto-producer-the-anime-has-multiple-endings/)

Fuck my life. I wish I had a woman like Tomoyo in it...
That scene in the snow was so touching ;_;

REVERSE ENOSHIMA KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!
Love may be fleeting. It may be weak. It may be too brittle. It may be a shapeless dream. But I don't care! Hikaru doesn't seek eternal love. Just one moment. As long as Hikaru can find just one moment of truth -- then this life will have had meaning!!
