I realize there's a chart but.... if someone could help me out I would appreciate it, hope I'm not a bother. Animes I've seen and liked: Death Note (classic) Stein's gate (More like this, please?!!?! Please?!) Code Geass (season 2 not so much) Trigun (so goooood) Soul eater (it.... was okay..) On the other side of the spectrum, also stuff I liked: Ano hana (no Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, god what a mouthful) 5 cm per second Animes I watched but stopped watching: Naruto (meh) Bleach (double meh) Black butler (I like the setting but the pace was too slow for me) Guilty Crown (god I love the animation and soundtrack, but I feel insulted at least twice per episode) I'm sure I missed a few but hopefully this helps to identify some possibilities that I might like. Thanks in advance!

They probably only jumped into the LN business to diversify a little and use their brand power, doesn't really feel like they are pushing anything in particular atm. So they probably don't care enough to stay to the source when they can do whatever they want and generate a hit anime. tbh I don't think any of the publishers care about the matter when they can just ride the anime as advertisement regardless of how anime works out.

Thanks in advance! Honestly, it depends on what you're in the mood for. Are you in the mood for the action-y stuff in your list or are you in the mood for something calmer?

How big of a change from the novels are we talking about here? Just what happens and the different antics they do, or are we talking about complete personality changes?
