I noticed there are two moviesas well though, should I watch those too and if so in what order? make sure you watch english dub version. he characters have very particular voices that will remain in your mind forever the 2?? movies, i dunno i get confused. there are like 25 episodes and then End of Evangelion is the end "movie" that resolves everything. but i think there might be an "alternate ending" single episode (dont even remember watching it tho). there is also a "remake" which is a series of movies titled like 1.1, 2.2 (for some reason); each movie episode is being released like once every 1-2 years and is a short retelling with a different character. dont watch these by accident. idk why they are remaking/shortening such an already awesome story that relies a lot on its "quiet/dark" episodes where not much happens so in summary you just wanna watch the episodes (1-24 or 1-26) (in english) and then watch End of Evangelion (might be called "Birth" and "Rebirth" but i think thats just random sub-titles within the movie. or it might be what they call it when they combine the last 2 episodes together into a featurelength movie. idk ps there is nothing wrong with shinji, its probably only the first episode where he whines but it is surrounded by awesomeness anyway | ||

IDK why that one dude suggested watching it dubbed, but I don't recommend watching it dubbed. The Rebuild Movies are just what they sound like, rebuilds/remakes, where the 2nd Rebuild movie goes off in a different direction than the TV show. Also they aren't finished yet. | ||

Toradora is awesome  Not a top tier anime but high tier for me. I liked it a lot. It's more effective when you can actually understand what they're saying and directly relate it to how they're saying it, instead of subs+japanese voice. The english voices are pretty unique and stick in your head like the other mentioned xD Also, it's not that bad really. Well, no spoilers but it's still enjoyable even if it's annoying/weird at parts. At worst, you're watching an "influential" anime so that you know what people are saying if they talk about it ^^. Watch the anime series first. They ran out of budget a few times so the series didn't turn out as planned. Then watch End of Evangelion. Then, move on to the movie remakes, which I feel are a lot better in many ways, though not in every way. People usually hate the main character but i thought it was interesting how wimpy he was, kekekek. I liked the emotional parts in the first few episodes, and then a couple later on. I won't say much more than that I guess. | ||

Maybe it is just how much anime i have watch and i am good at reading( in a sense that i know subs bother some people cause they dont process the sentence in time so they dont like subs) but i can hear the voice of the jap seiyū in english. Funny story i went back to rewatch the FMA dub and for the first couple sentences i could not understand what they where saying because of how i watch anime, had to actually pay attention to what they where saying as opposed to just listening for the tone to apply to subs i was reading. edit yay i am a goon (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ | ||

I'm used to subs too now, but "I musn't run away I musn't run away" is pretty classic :D or all the time shinji groans or moans or screams or squeels, lol Yea I liked his voice X) The sub is good too, ofc | ||

I wasn't expecting to get a serious chapter this week especially with the string of one-shots lately. It looks like they're going back to Nagi/Ruka manga story. That was interesting backstory on how Ruka became an idol/mangaka. Her parents were unsuccessful and tried to live vicariously through her. Although her abandonment makes no sense in that they wanted her to succeed and when she did, they were shamed into leaving her and with the accumulated debt. However, I am intrigued by the ending. The manager trying to impede Ruka's dream. | ||

And they added on an Episode 7, which is slated to come out whenever the fuck they feel like it. And this probably means, at the very earliest, The Origin won't come out till 2014. Sunrise super cruel. | ||

This felt a bit like a recap chapter, since most of it was already known, although it was probably 50+ chapters ago. Lol at gundam being 1 more episode and delayed even longer  | ||
