That said, I think Dennō Coil had some really deep undertones to it. There are probably more, but that was one of the first series I watched so I remember it better. In general the japanese have explored the borderlands of dream, the subconscious and virtual worlds quite a bit, which is something I find rather interesting. | ||

Someone who has seen it, can recommend me more? Doesn't rly need to be similiar, just if you liek this anime, what other animes comes to YOUR mind? (no shounen please.) + Show Spoiler [ending] + last few seconds of ending were so stupid I just ignore it and enjoy the ending without those seconds. Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin looks interesting. | ||

Apparently it's a bit fucked up in the psychological way which is always awesome with me only watching tame shit this season. Plus I've heard its awesome OST so if anything there's that to fall back on. | ||

But why is it unreasonable for that to happen ? Its a bit out of the blue and I disliked it for that but why wouldnt they fall for that ? NOOOO. HOW DARE THEY HURT SIG?!??!?!?!!?!?!!? Also, lolnsfw. + Show Spoiler [Shining Hearts - 4] + I thought I could just watch them bake bread forever, but apparently there's an actual plot. The cat girl was awesome, though. + Show Spoiler [Accel World - 5] + Holy crap; this was a terrible episode. Taku seems so stupid as a character. Things feel like they're being rushed and randomly thrown in just to add something, but it's sort of failing. + Show Spoiler [Fate/Zero - 18] + Kiritsugu's motives for killing his dad seem a little sketchy. The fact that he showed little remorse while doing it provides insight into how cold he actually is, but it doesn't seem too realistic to me. I like the idea of a flashback, though, since Kiritsugu needs to be much more transparent; otherwise, he just seems like a "I exist to kill and have no backstory" kind of person. Fate/Zero being awesome as always. + Show Spoiler [Steins;Gate] + Wow; that was pretty good. Seemingly casual and innocent in the beginning, yet complex and intricately weaved by the end. The way they gradually introduced new concepts and developed characters was so great. The Catch-22 of saving one person while sacrificing another was a nice twist, too (although I expected him to either give up on Mayuri and accept that she must die, or do the same for Kurisu. I think it might have been better had one of the two (probably Kurisu) remained dead by the end). I should have watched this earlier, lol. | ||

"Natalia also commented in the novel that he was a bit broken in the head in that he was able to disconnect the logic of his actions from his own emotions in a way that normal people would need some years of mental drilling to learn." So he was weird to begin with apparently. | ||
