Yuki god for 10,000 years, everybody else got a happy end. I just wasnt satisfied. I was hoping for Yuno and Yuki to get back together. The hell happened at the end? BLACK MAGIC
And whats with this "New project"? is it paradox or something else(2nd season anime original?!) + Show Spoiler [Mirai Nikki - 26 (END)] +Yuki gets a happy end. In the manga, + Show Spoiler +Murmur gives Yuno 3 the memories of Yuno 1 and what you saw after the credits was Yuno breaking the time-space wall with a hammer to reunite with Yuki. And they get to see the stars together. If only I had known now what the ending would be like, I wouldn't have started this series. I have to admit that this series was enjoyable at first, but I found it less and less enjoyable past the midway point. I never took a liking to Yuki at all. So he likes Yuno because she's always there for him but she's going to kill him in the end? He's dependent on her? And the one time he takes action, he kills off his friends on the false assumption that being god will bring back everyone. As for Yuno's love for Yuki, it's only to satisfy herself in the end? Their love for each other is so ridiculous. FWIW Yuno is a great yandere. Minene and Akise were cool too. I don't see myself revisiting this series again or much less care what their new project is. + Show Spoiler [Mirai Nikki - 26 (END)] + So thats why everyone on MAL was talking about hammers, the more ya know. That just sounds absolutely ridiculous though, not that mirai nikki is realistic in the first place. + Show Spoiler +at least they didnt show the hammer time. the way they ended it in the anime was much better because you dont find out the absolutely retarded way they reunite, lol.

So what is the general consensus of Mirai Nikki anime?
Im about 8/26 of it, and dont really have much motivation to finish it.
Edit: I havent read the manga.
|
didnt finish it but I read the manga. I think they were pretty faithful to the manga at least in the episodes I saw. But the ending of the anime seems to be something original

Edit: I havent read the manga. I give it a 6/10. First half of the anime is much better than the second half. I didn't like Yukiteru either. I regret marathoning this series recently.

Train wreck. Tried hard to be the next big dark shonen when it was being serialized in ace (kind of like how death note was to WSJ) except the mangaka started writing himself into a corner, and ridiculous shit started happening. Without the token yandere appeal, no one would watch it.

Manga was fine. Never finished the anime series.

Mizuki nana guest vocaled the 2011 anisama perf of skill holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, although it was a bit of a mismatch, and crowd was kinda weak. Dat Yui Horie+Mizuki Nana combo though... The male Eternal Blaze was pretty odd, but then again so was that other perf with the vocalist wrapped up in a blanket >_>

Do I have to watch Eureka Seven before AO?

No more shitty mecha plz, not after Senki Zesshou and (only slightly better) Rinne no Lagrange.

Supposed to be a sequel so yeah. They may not explain alot of the technology and the sci fi elements in detail so it could get confusing. That and it seems to be taking place like a decade or 2 after the end of the first one (speculating, but Im pretty sure) so the story elements will probably connected a fair bit.
edit: You could probably get by anyway, but it would take a fair bit away from the experience I suppose.

Link? Was this the same event that Kaze posted several pages back with the Eternal Blaze duet?

I liked the premise, but there were so many twists and retarded rules thrown out in the end that it was ruined. If you don't like it now, you'll probably hate it later on.
+ Show Spoiler [Mirai Nikki] + I mean seriously, what kind of god can't bring people back from the dead or re-create their own world?
And how the fuck did the mayor manage to make future diaries?
I'd rate it between 6-7 as of now, but I read the manga ending and haven't seen the last episode yet. But from what I hear, it's really no different.

Go find a torrent to see it, along with the rest of the concert.
Nana x JAM Project was pretty disappointing but I don't know why you thought Endoh x Nana was odd. Was pretty amazing imo. Just what you'd expect from him.

The teenage angst could have been played out better in a few areas, but I thought it was well executed.

For the record I dropped Eureka 7. But considering that AO is a direct sequel, it would be strongly recommended to watch the original first.

There is nothing in mecha series this year so far that's anywhere near creative or couldn't be done with a much more creative setting like steampunk. People need to stop having fetishes for robots, esp. b/c it's not like action scenes are much better with mechas nowadays than regular person-to-person ones. Less cheering for crap like this, more reading of Bokurano, plz.
