Madoka is soooo good. Part of what makes it effective is its departure from the physiognamic norms in anime where cute characters are nice and dark characters are not nice. In fact, everybody is not nice and nice at the same time! So much COMPLEXITY! :D I just realized the dramatic pauses that happened periodically through the anime weren't intentional parts of the anime but just my laggy internet connection. I'm slightly less impressed now. | ||

Id go with Fate Zero because YUKI's vocals always irk me. The Koukin Otome op just sounded like another one of those dime a dozen singles that you get from a Mami Kawada, Angela or uhh dono Itou Kanako or something. Not even close to the same league. | ||

Watched the first ep of Apollon and was cringing the whole time expecting it to turn into Boys Love or something else nasty. But it turned out to be about music, which is awesome. I really liked Tsuritama too, the art style and music pretty much guaranteed my interest, but it might actually be really funny too. Polar Bear Cafe has its moments aswell. Hope Kimi to Boku goes on forever and ever. Still undecided on Medaka Box and Sankarea: need to see where they are going, how heavy is the troll factor, etc,. Jormungand sounds a bit more serious show, haven't got around to watch it yet. Going to watch the zombie desu-ka too, just because it's laid back: they don't even try to make any excuses or make sense or be unique in any way whatsoever. And that's positive if you are going to make a silly & childish show with loads of fanservice. Yoko Kanno and Kuricorder Quartet =<3<3me happy^^ I somehow have a craving for a mecha /sci-fi show though :/ | ||
