So generally people will have more to say about them.

Saki really makes Mahjong look crazy. You'd think that watching cute girls play Mahjong could get pretty boring, but in all honesty the amount of animation they put into those scenes is actually pretty impressive. Spazer also mentioned something when he reviewed Saki that I thought is worth noting: What Saki does well is that they really go into the strategy behind Mahjong when everyone has insane and crazy powers. In that sense then, it was really fun watching people try to adapt to players who only waited on bad waits, people who won consistently off of the dead wall with kans, or people who always won on the last draw of the hand. In other words, if you like Mahjong and if you like cute girls doing occasionally cute things, I think Saki is suitable. As for Achiga-hen, the first episode was nice, but it didn't have as much of an impact as the first season did. Then again, Achiga-hen is more slice-of-life than Saki was.

https://twitter.com/#!/YUEANI/status/189356312587542528/photo/1 Handball Club Club activities involve using a yellow ball and interacting with (passing) and deceiving (feint) each other on a routine basis, and skillfully sexually penetrating (shooting) a metal, square, hard thing through you (goal)... wait, what are you making me say! Yo-y-y-y-y-you stupid dog--- that aside, we're the handball club, nice to meet you. Our club meets Wednesdays and Fridays at the Primary Gymnasium, and on other days you can just be doing it outside! Here here I'll step on yo- wait, huh? Wh- wh-, w-w-where are you stepping~ err, the club unfortunately cannot practice due to the nature of the activity. Leaving the trivial stuff aside goshujin-sama will be waiting, so hurry up and come pay us a visit, you, baka~... ///
