I've just had my first playthrough of Kara No Shoujo , a great visual novel and I feel like I REALLY freaking need more games like that. A detective visual novel please. Can anyone help ? PM me if you can...
Shikkoku no Sharnoth.
Its detective, not sure if this is the type you want though. I have this bookmarked to play when I have time during spring break. This song is what sold me:
PM'd you more details.
I don't know what Kara no Shoujo is like, but Sharnoth is definitely good. The minigames are too easy though. : /
Inganock has a better OST too (not that Sharnoth's was bad).
All of the steamengine series games suffered from decidedly average OSTs, though most of them have had like one song that stands out.
Hard mode was from ummm after clearing under extra, iirc.

It's too good to put off and it's really interesting to see the changes that take place due to season 1 ending...well everything is interesting but yeah.
Blast, if you're in the mood for some tsundere, try Unbreakable Machine Doll if you haven't already. Only 18 chapters translated so plot hasn't really gone anywhere but the tsundere is pretty good :D
I thought I commented on that already but maybe I haven't, but a man can only put up with so many good art shit plot mangas at once.
Also what is good about that tsundere even? Other than cute art and being better than clingy doll.
True, but a tsundere-con can put up with a lot of shit plot + tsundere mangas. What I like most about her is the blushing (which would fall under cute art) but I think just the fact that she isn't the horrible 99% tsuntsun mode that is normal nowadays was good enough for me.
OMG FERROSE HAS RETURNED FROM THE DEPTHS OF BANISHMENT. welcome back, I think some guy was trying usurp your lolicon position while you were gone.
Dunno if trying or took or randomly had it bestowed upon him.
My yardstick is the usual Kurisu+Nomura Mizuki heroines so yeah, being less shit than completely shit still isn't even par.
Ecael is Ecael lol...his standards are not of our mortal comprehension

I think all 3 occurred at different points in time.
Yeah, well I wouldn't be a tsundere lover if my standards were remotely close to yours. It's not like anything I say will satisfy you because I'll admit my reasoning boils down to "because I like tsunderes."
Pfft I love my yanderes and when one sucks I just say: "That isn't a yandere, that's just an insane bugger". Clearly could work the same for you.
I am scrolling down my downloads folder atm and trying to remember the last time that I read a tsundere that I thought was decent.

Eh, I'd think it is only natural to have higher expectations out of a really well explored archetype.
woah now, are you trying to turn me into Ecael v2.0? D:
also, weren't you the person who said that a poorly written tsundere is still a tsundere but a poorly written yandere is nothing? I've said before, my enjoyment of tsundere stems from blushing and embarrassment which you can't really mess up on. Anything else is just a plus, though in cases like Kurisu and Nanase, it's more of a multiplier. Sure, objectively that's stupid but I can't tell my brain to stop being happy when I see it (unless I train hard to become Ecael 2.0). I get what you mean though, and to be honest, sometimes I feel like I should raise my expectations. And sure, tell me more examples that impressed even the great Ecael and I'll gladly take a look (provided there is English translations...) and realize the error of my ways.
Raising expectations over time is natural, but ever since those Kugimiya Rie tsundere clones flooded the anime market, my expectations have gone down, down, down -_-

Kugi Rie Tsundere's are the worst tsunderes. Once you've seen one, you've seen em all
I prefer me a Hikasa Youko or a Satou Rina tsundere
Finished Persona 4 Anime, was pretty fun mainly watched it for the Protagonist and a non tsundere Kugimiya Rie. The show itself was meh, but Protagonist is awesome and makes me laugh so it's all good

He can have it.
I liked Sharnoth a lot more from story and setting perspective though. But the goddamn repeating passages still don't go away >.>
All the parallels to real life British historical figures are pretty awesome too.
I guess Inori has Mana in her all along. After reviewing some older episodes, it seems that back in Episode 6, Mana already manifested in order to allow Shu to merge two Voids together and shoot down that satellite (presumably after Shu wished hard enough to save Gai). In fact, during that time, Shu did not even need to pull out Inori's Void... it came out by itself, kind of like how Inori hurt Arisa.
Probably what will happen next episode is that the same thing will happen again - Shu will want to save a person really badly, then Mana will appear (via Inori) and grand him a new right hand which presumably can draw Voids.

Eh?
Ehhh?
EEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
EHHHHHHHHHHHHHH????? If Ferrose retires from Lolicon-ism then he won't be Ferrose anymore! that's like me retiring from yuri!!!
so they finally are able to full house after their producer buys the last ticket. Looks like the producer figured out Minoru/i is trapping but just didn't say anything lol...I'd say that was a good end to that arc.

Has anyone here seen and completed Nodame Cantabile? It's a series that I've mostly enjoyed so far, but I literally had to stop watching because of the protagonist. How far in does he stop being a tremendous asshole and start being a decent legitimate human being? Cause I'm really tired of him yelling and screaming and treating everyone like shit yet still getting love, not only from the characters in the anime but also from fans in reviews and the like.

Where are you? I finished the series but I never really found him as a big asshole, the only assholish moments are imo in the first 10 episodes of the first anime, I think you will have to try to understand him, though, in order to enjoy any of the deeper stuff that's going to happen.. You can't just block a person like perhaps you do IRL? Try putting yourself in his shoes, etc. That said, I understand if you simply do not like Chiyaki - in that case, though, the show is probably not for you. Can't imagine a scenario in which you hate the MC but you like the show, anyway. Oh wait, School days.

moar thoughts pl0x edit: !!!!1
No but really Nanako-chan is pretty cute. They should've made the battles better since they didn't really stand out much frankly I liked the comedy part of the show a lot more than actual serious portions such as...when they try to find out Kanji's sexual orientation and the cooking showdown and such. Yukiko makes great laughs too. But really most of the humor come from just how direct and blunt Protagonist is.
seems like the original was removed because of copyright so make due with a idolm@ster version
