Well it depends on what we are talking about with "good and bad". I didn't like the episode as much as I did the first 2, but thats just because of where the plot currently is. If the show kept trying to repeat the stuff that happened in episode 2 every single episode, we would get Code Geass R2 really fast. The ending was really encouraging, though, in terms of direction.

I didn't really like this episode as much as the others, though; things just suddenly went from "I don't want anything to do with you" to "sure, I'll cooperate". I get that he understands the situation, but I was expecting something a little more defiant.

Why so much hate on this week GC? I think it was perfect. It explains shit ton of crap that was unexplained last week and it explain the power of voids. It also heading to a much darker theme which is good imo 
+ Show Spoiler + Notice how they didnt kiss and make up at the end there? The Yahiro being a douche bag was pretty unexpected and quiet an interesting twist. I think it was a good twist. Now it how they follow it up. They dont have proof that he did anything but this is a pretty fucked up totalitarian government so they might not give a shit anyways.

+ Show Spoiler + Hah! Inori is not CG. Totally has no subliminal messaging or reference to Code Geass. I didn't mentally flame at this episode either... it was clean. I did expect Yahiro to turn on him though. He went from super mad to oh heyyyy we're bros now! way too fast.
And Inori isn't in her weird dress with flappy sleeves that could seriously lead to her death. The Incredibles, no?

+ Show Spoiler +They are probably going to really harshly interogate whats his name, and then send him to the lab to get that Void Genome thing out. Hayato won't be able to allow this, so will mobilize a rescue. Its predictable, but in the end it will just come down to execution. I would be REALLY surprised if this turned out differently. I was really sad that there was no Wheelchair-chan this week, so hopefully next week we will get some of her owning in her mech again.
