I initially thought it was going to be an amazing techno-thrilleresque anime with awesome economic analysis and whatnot, but it seemed as if it just turned into your typical shonen battle manga :/ Are there any good recent(ish) animes that have to do with super-geniuses/analysis/very technical stuff? I don't know why, but I just have a thing for those types of stories (i.e. code geass, death note, et al). | ||

But then I found out that it was gonna be battles, and I lost interest. I dunno about recent, but LoGH is very good with strategy/tactics. It's probably one of the only shows where the strategies are realistic and actually make sense. | ||

THAT ASIDE it looks amazing and I am looking forward to it, thank god they did not get squeamish with the violence considering everyones powers are based on their BLOOD. The whole scene with the parents of his school friends and the courtroom being added was a nice touch because I was surprised in the manga how fast they convicted him and shot ahead with the story. There was a silly bit of continuity fail when the blood on his face would dissapear and reappear during that scene too but overall I am looking forward to all of previewed spring series AS WELL AS THE SUPRISES: Yondemasu yo Azazel-san each one is around 10~12mn but amazing comedy gold. | ||
