Deadman Wonderland just came out a few days ago. I've been loving the manga and so far and the show (as of the first episode) has been fairly true to the story. A few minor changes here and there have been made to the timeline, (and I feel they over-defined Shiro's ass almost to the point of being comical) but it's very much the same DMW.

The first episode covers about the first 3rd of the first volume. It's a healthy amount though; the writers don't f*** around with filler material.

Anyone else read the manga or seen the show and as excited as I am? =P

I watched a couple episodes of that anime. I personally found it to be rather cliche and boring. The idea of anime/manga being a stigma, while an intersting topic, was handled quite poorly. There are far better romantic comedies out there if you're looking for romantic comedies.

What you don't know is that Southlight is a black market Japan soft dealer. He gets all the new games before they come out, stores them in a warehouse, and then sells them fo cheap on the black market.

How have you guys liked S (money of soul and possibility control or whatever)?

I initially thought it was going to be an amazing techno-thrilleresque anime with awesome economic analysis and whatnot, but it seemed as if it just turned into your typical shonen battle manga :/

Are there any good recent(ish) animes that have to do with super-geniuses/analysis/very technical stuff? I don't know why, but I just have a thing for those types of stories (i.e. code geass, death note, et al).

I remember the Gundam pilots from Gundam Wing being like immortal superheroes ripping apart everything. Then I went back and rewatched it like 9 years later and realized they got their asses kicked a lot :/ Goes to show you some childhood memories shouldn't be revisited.

I thought C sounded good when I first heard about it back before the spring season started. But then I found out that it was gonna be battles, and I lost interest.

I dunno about recent, but LoGH is very good with strategy/tactics. It's probably one of the only shows where the strategies are realistic and actually make sense.

Gundam Wing was the Gundam that most people first encountered Gundam with. Its decent for people who haven't really seen alot, I guess, but honestly Wing hasn't aged well. Wing's strength is that it has some really cool mecha designs, but it has the crippling weakness of only have 2 characters and 1 Char clone in the entire series.

there was not filler they're just cutting the story short, I'm pretty sure they're going to end it prematurely so a good bit of backstory is going to be removed. THAT ASIDE it looks amazing and I am looking forward to it, thank god they did not get squeamish with the violence considering everyones powers are based on their BLOOD. The whole scene with the parents of his school friends and the courtroom being added was a nice touch because I was surprised in the manga how fast they convicted him and shot ahead with the story. There was a silly bit of continuity fail when the blood on his face would dissapear and reappear during that scene too but overall I am looking forward to all of previewed spring series AS WELL AS THE SUPRISES:

Yondemasu yo Azazel-san each one is around 10~12mn but amazing comedy gold.
