There are two fruits that can manipulate the weight of things, two fruits that allow you to explode things, and two fruits that allow you to turn into blades. Fujitora's (or his sword's) fruit is fairly different from Blackbeard's fruit. Blackbeard is a logia that can suck things towards or away from him, while Fujitora's fruit is a paramecia that moves things along a direction. While you can include both under the label of gravity they have significant differences. | ||

Also I literally can't remember some of the fruits people mentioned. Second fruit that changes weight, second fruit that lets you turn into blades, second explosion fruit. I guess the blade thing are baby 5 and daz bones. But the others, I need to google now. | ||

I think Oda is trying to established a motif, by mirroring Doflamingo's organization slightly with Crocodile's organization. Gladius's fruit resembles Mr. 5's, though Gladius's fruit works on inorganic objects, and is more compression than strict explosion. I think Machvise's fruit is also a sort of New World reflection of Miss Valentine's fruit (maybe he changes the weight of other objects not himself?). | ||

Its just how some other languages are, they have vague concepts that we try to fit into a specific box. Not too long ago there was a question about if nakama can be directly translated. I think its the same issue here. | ||

BB's uses a blackhole, a Blackhole =/= Gravity. A blackhole sucks things in with the effects of gravity Fuji/Fuji's sword literally controls and manipulates gravity in anyway he wants. Saying they are the same is like saying well everyone technically has the gravity fruit since no one floats into space thanks to the effects of gravity. Obviously an exaggerated point but the same concept. | ||
