There should be a vote to ban him from trolling these threads. I was stupid enough to win an argument with him back when he said the CP9 used Haki in Water 7 and that Luffy never beat a logia (or something similar) with no effect.

I would actually argue that Hakuba and Cavendish are not the same person but are both part of the same person. Hakubadish should be his name. The holy duality, yin and yang. Hakubadish is the new god of OP after enel.

The dudes got a split personality disorder. If one half of his personality is stronger then the other, doesn't make him a different person. It's like if he had one personality that was trained in combat and another that wasn't that wouldn't change the fact that he is Cavendish. If they decide to give each side of his personality different names then it's up to whoever knows about it but it's still the same dude.

If someone has a nice and caring side but can also be provoked into blind fury we wouldn't class them as two different people because that would be dumb.

But it's not just that he is stronger, his appearance changes, attitude changes, personality changes. Literally everything about Hakuba is different. The only thing they share is their body. It's almost more like a ghost possessing someone then multiple personality disorder really xD.

Also while I actually do agree with your main point, comparing multiple personalities to mood swings like being provoked into blind fury is a terrible fucking argument to try and make.

They are the same person in a similar way that Sogeking is Usopp. While at first it was just a disguise for Usopp during the Perona fight he argued with Sogeking and needed him in part of the fight. The root argument was whether Cavendish is strong right? So questioning whether Cavendish is strong when his second personality is difficult to use is a legitimate complaint. Hakuba can only be used when Cavendish falls asleep which leaves him open, but that does seem more reliable than however Sogeking is summoned.

The thing is Hakuba is still cavendish therefore Cavendish is not a chump.

In the same way enel without his fruit power is a chump, right? he has mantra but almost no skill or fighting power outside his fruit.

Since the entirety of one pieces strength is based on willpower. Isn't it feasible for a person with bipolar / split personalities to be both insanely strong and ridiculously weak depending on the emergent personality?

Would be an interesting concept to introduce, at least.

Remember when Nami/Sanji got personality swapped by Law? Who disagrees that Nami in Sanji's body was still a weak fighter?
A body may be strong or weak, but it is the personality that has ingrained the fighting style.

Different personality = different fighting power.

first off nami wasnt in sanjis body. i think she was in frankys
either way shed be a shit fighter because she doesnt know how to use the body nor have the knowledge on how to fight.
i remember sanji couldnt do shit in namis body because she was too weak despite his mind wanting to do shit.
different body=different fighting power

Nami was in Sanji's body after Law returned Chopper and Franky back to normal and Sanji was away in Nami's body.
