I think the 1000 beasts is a reference to his zoan army, presumably built from artificial fruits mad with S.A.D. I don't think it's a reference to himself personally.

He could be a griffin. Griffins are mythical creatures, and are traditionally known as the king of all beasts, so it'd be fitting.

I think Kaidou will have a rather normal zoan fruit and (like Chopper) have mastered multiple forms.

Doesn't Chopper already have his 3 basic forms and jump point, horn point, arm point, guard point and kung fu point.
That would be 8. Counting his giant beast from rumble ball overdose would 9.
And Chopper is counted among the weaklings of the SH crew.
I can easily see Kaidou having 20-40 forms. Not that we will see them in a single fight, or anytime soon.

I think the main reason he was strong is because of the fact that he has a big crew alot of which are very strong. And have very op DF's
I mean imagine if pica didn't have the fruit he did and could just boot everybody out of the castle things could of turned out way differently or if that brook hadn't tricked the art woman into un-arting his sword.

I gathered from that it was probally something like mystique from xmen.
But a hell of alot more OP and with elite fighting and haki skills to back it up too.

Kaido is really the Lord of the Coast whom bit off Shanks' arm.
Blackbeard and crew will not be Luffy's final boss. Instead Shanks and his crew will battle with Teach (as was already implied in the Marineford arc).

Or better yet when Chopper learns how to be a better doctor. After all that's what he's there for. So far we only really see him treating post-fight injuries and whatnot. I want to see him become a combat medic where he can heal mid-fight or augment the other crew members with potions and stuff.

It's pretty safe to say only the monster trio will know haki throughout the new world.

If one is to think about dominating the new world (not just being a dominant force, dominating like koreans dominate sc2, or even bw), you need breadth in strength. Suppose luffy's the only strong one, 2 strong people can destroy SH by playing things tactically. Even now, 3 strong members won't be enough, as 3 admirals + vice-admirals will be véry dangerous. Or suppose 2 yonkous team up to fight SH. SH probably won't stand a chance. Based on this reasoning i think (most of) the members need to become stronger once again. Being able to use haki seems a straightforward step.
Of course, i have no real sources for this, it's pure speculation.

I don't see any of the other SH's getting Haki. They all have support roles that don't really require it anyway. They are more AoE clear through the weak soldiers and specialty support like Medic etc. For what they do none of them need to use Haki
Only the Monster Trio needs Haki as they will be the only ones fighting guys that are strong enough to warrant it. The others just clear out scrubs so they don't get in the monster trio's way.
Would be hilarious if the only other one to get Haki is Usopp though! I can just picture it now... Suddenly return of Sogeking and he starts firing Haki projectiles and raining hell down upon enemies xD

I don't think robin, chopper, nami or usopp will ever get haki. Those four always use their smarts to take out logias or fight something they cant take head on. Chopper is actually the odd one out and takes things on directly most of the time. Franky doesnt need haki since lasers hit everything.

Luffy could teach them the same way reyleigh tought him? Iirc everyone can do haki except for conqueror's haki.

I don't see the need for everyone to get haki. In fact, that the strawhats still have relatively weaker members makes it interesting.
Usopp totally has conqueror's haki though. I'm betting on it.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Kaido is something like Nrvnqsr Chaos from Tsukihime. Makes sense with his title, at least.
