The reason Smoker so desperately wants to take in Luffy is that he's a pirate who doesn't fear death (just like Roger). However they clearly don't hate each other, just like Garp and Roger. Smoker will power up, as will Tashigi; they'll be fit matches for both Luffy and Zoro. At very least, that's how I see it. Hmm, yeah you might be right. But I feel no one will progress as fast as the strawhats with exception to coby and helmepo. But yeah smoker could catch up I guess. However, I entirely disagree with tashigi. She will never be dangerous to zorro ever. Zorro and tashigis power gap is even larger than luffy and cobys. | ||

Furthermore, Blackbeard has stated that his logia fruit is unlike other logias in that he can't "evade" attacks by becoming the element, because "Darkness pulls everything in" or something similar. In other words, you don't need haki to attack Blackbeard, though it obviously helps as it makes attacks more powerful. | ||

I repeat: Memory altering is an ability, most likely of that little girl, not a fucking magic side effect of the devil fruit. If that ability has global range I will eat my hat. That a single person can use this ability perfectly on everyone on the entire world is just ludicrous in my opinion. I agree with this. Another reason that i highly doubt that the memory loss is absolute and global, is the fact that we know about it. If nobody was able to remember the people who has been turned into toys, then nobody would be able to tell about the effect, simply because they wouldn't realise that something is wrong. EDIT: Disregard - obviously the people turned into toys would be able to tell that people they once knew couldn't remember them anymore. It does however, still seem hard to believe that the fruit had global reach. | ||
