What about the guy that's litteraly made out of smoke? Or maybe that luffy just jumped 200 metres in the air, made his arm really fucking huge, turned it black from coating it in special willpower effects, and then used that to punch a guy? But I see your point, it obviously doesnt make any sense to make it into a horn. i actually thought it was the chin that extended making it a horn first. That wouldve made more sense.

This was serious.. crazy serious ahaha
I don't think Bartolomeo wants to kill/destroy Luffy.. i think he might be an ally!

Well I'm guessing Chinjao is going to become Luffy's temporary ally this arc given Luffy fixed his head.

For my fellow tl fellows and since the office is pretty much empty now, i present this, my first paint on tl, this is what i have in mind:

Just imagine Chinjao's head is a pop up button, you know the one where you push it and it pops up a bit, then push it again and it goes inward.
|
Told you it was all physics~.
|
So the horn is hidden inside all these while
It is not gone~~
Just need a little push. keke
Now I noe why Chin Cao cry like a baby. He totally went bankrupt, his signature head , his wealth, his power.. all gone, from garp 1 punch.
Maybe Chin Cao now will say, Luffy U have what it takes for the Pirate king!
|
I called that Chinjao's head used to be pointy until Garp smashed it down but Luffy will punch it back into place. ^said no one, ever. Oda so crazy.

actually I read that somewhere not sure if it was here, on reddit or in my mangaforum of choice, but someone definitely predicted it

Chinjao the drill & garp destroy his power. It is a big hint.
|
wasnt that big of a surprise really, the moment i saw the flashback i had a hunch luffy would end up befriending chin jao by punching his head so a horn would come out again. only problem was when i actually saw it happen i was like "wtf how is this possible"
|
Chinjao looks like dark seer. That is all.

...Are you Oda?

Actually Chinjao looked scary in his old age, with no pointy head.| Like a martial artist?? Abit Kung fu panda? Not sure, he is very scary
He looked so silly, when young. Especially with that head haha.
|
Now dat was a proppah smack! I want Chinjao as an ally now!

I can't fathom how Oda gets these ideas/storylines/stuff. And for how long he must have figured it all out and put all these storylines into place so it'd work like this. Honestly, just this little sub-story with the horn-hea needs a million ideas to intertwine, and I always find it amusing and magical how we can so seemlessly make it work again and again.

Yeah I figure he already has the entire plot up to the end finished and all he has to do is write the story and fill in the details. If something can fit into the plot web he's already made, he can put it in.
|
Haha Oda is so good at these little background shenanigans :D
Edit: Lol, basically what PVJ said:

There are countless mangaka and he's the best right now. That's exactly what you would expect from the best.
