Why do I always miss the "On break next issue"! fuuuuuu

Or Fujitora could be one those underrated marine captain/rear admiral/vice admiral that own shit like Vergo but only posted on some further and less known areas of OP world.
Fujitora isn't really reliant to his devil fruit it looks more like his fighting is enhanced rather than being dependent on it.

i dont remember the exact details, but the marineford war was supposed to have pretty much every big name in the navy present. they were vsing whitebeard after all fujitora might not have been proficient then, but to suddenly get so good in 2 years his admiral level? seems unlikely that he was a shit fighter 2 years ago. also, his power is still too unique for it to go unnoticed and i dunno about you goody but every fight i saw with fuji it was him half pulling his sword out of its sheath and then shit starts dropping from the sky

In Ch. 713 DD says that Fujitora was added to the Marines as part of the "World Military Draft". I expect he came from some countries military, think of Pell from Alabasta. I would guess by his clothes and fighting style that he even came from the land of the Samurai or somewhere similar, and that he was the leader of their military force before being drafted ito the marines.
|
Wano isn't part of the World Government. Its not impossible that hes from Wano, but I doubt it.
|
Well yeah Fuji does like abuse his DF and he's really good at using it not just dropping meteor but floating shit around even accelerated stuff but he was also by no means dependent on the df since he could hold against literally everybody he faced so far.
I always thought he was from Wano Kingdom originally(cause he uses sword and his clothes) . Maybe LaughingTulkas is right and he came from another country probably still set on the New World if not from the Wano Country.
I remember reading from a chapter that despite the marines losing Garp, Sengoku and Aokiji. They became stronger under Akainu's leadership. Maybe he started pulling military people around the world to add to the marines.

We don't know..
Garp also never wanted to be promoted..
this. it was hit spot on, in fact fujitora argues with akainu on the phone giving you his perspective on his decision making
www.mangainn.me
i'm sure fujitora has a better idea of what justice should be, but sees the flaw in this government's form of absolute justice in it's decision making. the guy obviously believed if he could gain a position of authority he could make things right in the world, but it dawned upon him over time that the people who stood for justice were corrupt as well so he started questioning the decisions that were ordered of him.
the funny thing is, reality works just like that. swap out the pirates for criminal and gang organizations, and it starts to make sense. i'm sure fujitora was disgusted he had to ally himself with doflamingo just because the guy earned a position as shichibukai due to royalty and shady background.

Chapter is out on Mangapanda
+ Show Spoiler +New character reminds me of Nami, but not because the bikini itself rather just staring at big boobs. I mean really why can't there be repeat bikini styles? Rip Dragon, and Ninja's collision was a weird way to write out Konjuru and Kinemon.
Dressrosa arc felt very similar to Alabasta arc, this arc feels similar to Sky Island arc.

Don't you think the Ninja's collision was not orchestrated ? I mean, Kura... w/e did seems that he wanted to get hit so he and Kinemon weren't arriving on top of that elephant... Will ofc, as always, need to get a better translation aka mangastream, but to me that's pretty clear that they did not wanted to go on top of that elephant.
On the bikini's subject, your point is fair but you have not to forget that the tribe are supposed not to have any contact with the outer world.
One thing i'm really keen on, is that people on that island at least seem very powerfull, at least the midget girl was able to just dodge without sweating Zoro's sword. It feels like this time we are gonna see the strawhats improving.

That was probably the worst translation ever

I don't see why people bother with the early translations. It just causes a bunch of grief, misunderstanding basic dialogue that you're just going to go back and re-read later when there's actually a good one. D:
