He bases alot of his writing off things like War of the Roses, stuff that has actually happened in our history. History is even more fucked up.

That was rough, even having read the books, but the reactions are making it a bit better.
Was expecting more posts like this though:

I'll miss Robb and Cat.

He isn't spoiling anything in the future or saying anything from the books I don't see why spoiler would be needed?
But more on topic: HOLY GOD DAMN SHIT TIT BALLS! I knew it was coming but it still made me.. Well I can't even put into words what that made me feel O.o. Like getting blind sided by a transport truck that you've seen coming for a mile!

Can't help but think it must be time for some actual Lannister blood though, they are well overdue. I dont know, the show goes out of its way to show that the only competent Starks are Bran and Arya. I am surprised that a family so inept at the Game of Thrones survived for as long as they did as Kings of anything.
I agree with the other dude, Jon Snow riding off randomly after his brothers' wolves showed up was strange. Jon + 2 super wolfs vs one Wildling seemed like pretty good odds. Kill the ginger, or let the wolves eat him, rescue your brothers and take your woman up to Castle Black.

But what we should really be talking about is why did Jon ride off like that? There was only one wildling left and as far as Jon knew he was going to kill his girlfriend. Also, before he got eagled in the face he saw his brothers' wolves, so he should know they're around. Did he just assume he couldn't beat that wildling guy with his face all eagled up?
How by the seven could Jon know that Bran is a freaking Warg? His Wolf ran away before so could've Brans. I dont think that he though that he could've stayed there, because in a scene before he knows how many wildlings there are. Dont forget he is still a crow and there are wildlings south of the wall, its his duty to protect the realm at all cost. What reason had he to stay?
|
Because he saw two wolves, killing people who wanted to kill him. Even if he didnt know that Bran can control wolves he should have known Starks are near. Actually, since he doesnt know about the fall of Winterfell or the Red Wing for all he knows there is a Stark host that is marching North and Bran and Ricon are along.

Catelyn tully looked ridiculious after she killed the freys wife. AHHHHH... *mouths still open* hhhhh. lol Oh well, good ep, sad to see Rob go, sadder still to see Arya so crushed. I think its pretty telling that Jons first instinct when fighting the wildlings was to throw ygritte to the ground. She was willing to fight for him but he clearly didnt trust her at all.On June 03 2013 13:48 Sub40APM wrote: Because he saw two wolves, killing people who wanted to kill him. He was also in the middle of a sword fight and in deep rural country. Where there are wild wolves, and presumably domesticated wolves [on semi abandoned property no less]. Either way he wasnt in a position to do anything, he had to get the hell out of there. He was fucked otherwise.

My jaw literally dropped the second that guy started stabbing Rob's wife and didn't come back up till the credits were like half over.
I just don't understand what's gonna happen in this show now. Like Rob had such huge plot armor, not a single person can lead the army and I just don't fucking know whats gonna happen at all...
Just speechless. Like wtf what's gonna happen in the series finale... Wtf is gonna top that shit... Why is Dany the complete opposite when it comes to luck...
Are the Lannisters really gonna fucking like really take over the entire seven Kingdoms before Dany comes over.
I'm still in shock over what just happened... I have so many questions atm...

I'm taking such sick sadistic pleasure in collecting all the tears from the rookies who didn't read the books and so didn't know this was coming. Soooo many people on other boards are saying shit like "I'm done; I won't watch anymore". I look at them like a crack dealer looks at a client who says he is quitting; yeah fucking right....they'll be back for another punch to the gut next week. Hahahaha
|
I cried, a lot.
Jesus, I can't handle this show. Plz R.R. Martin, please let the Starks be successful at something, I love them.
Why did they have to kill the wolf?! Poor Arya, so close.. Love her and the hound together though.
Oh god, and that wasn't even the finale.

Wild wolves that kill specifically people targeting his enemies that look identical to the wolves his younger half-brothers have and when the only ones left are Yigret, Red head and Jon who clearly knows how to sword fight better than the Wildlings. Meh, could have done it better. Could have shown more wildlings around, could have shown the wolves running away after killing those two dudes to get the rest of the wildlings to chase them.

I'm sorry, in the middle of a sword battle can you recognize the similarities between a puppy you saw about a year ago and a Dog larger than the avg wolf, who is also in the middle of a battle? We know how many wildlings are around at least in the general vicinity, which is like thirty. Even if those were the last of them *right there* he still has to escape, he still has adrenaline pumping through his veins, and realistically he shouldnt recognize the dogs. I wouldnt.
