Since it is obviously not derived from the Chinese form of Dragons, their ability to breath fire will make them Dragons. No fire = Wyvern. Ok? Also i am somewhat happy, that hey left out the part, where the dragons are sucking on her breasts. Think would have been a bit wierd to actually see ^^

I was surprised they kept her hair though, that seemed to be a big part of her transformation.

I see you guys are just fine with the "dire wolves" being some normal sized dogs, or should we start discussing that too? Or why does the "showmakers have the creative freedom to adapt" applies to the direwolves but not to dragons?

Will the direwolves be created with CGI in season two? DW: It will be a combination of real dogs and visual effects and any other way we can make it work. it does bother me to see dogs running around, barking, in place of huge scary wolves. they should have grown to be really big by season 2, lets hope they're believable

Hopefully it will happen! On another topic, the decline and death of Drogo is one of the most heart-wrenching passings I have ever come across in a film, book or TV-series. Very, very well presented.

Not in games of thrones or elsewhere (well, the mother, but the true size was hard to get from that whiteout rewatching). If you don't read the Book you don't really know how big Direwolves are supposed to be AND you don't know if their grown out yet. They seemed to grow really fast during Season 1, so i have no reason to believe that they are allready grown up.

I mean at the time he got the wound he shrugged it off, and the next time you see him in the next episode - he is basically dead falling off his horse, i'd thought i'd missed something when i was watching, just seemed so poorly bridged.

I presume at least some of you did. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dire_Wolf There we pretty much bigger versions of lots of mammals (horses, mammoths, marsupials, sloths etc) back in the day, most of them died out though.

Don't worry, the producers knew that was not important. It was more important to see Roz boobs 5 times, or Theon background 3 times while he did NOTHING the whole season. Why they needed to waste screen time with so many pointless things while there were so many important stuff to show I will never understand. The only good scenes with naked Roz was the Littlefinger one as he is explained to the audience just before his master play. Everything else could have been done differently/cut out/shortened.

I didn't really get a good look at them because I was watching the episode at work and I have to leave fullscreen when there's boobies in case someone walks into my office. From what little I could see, they looked amazingly well done.

I'm pretty sure the entire point of that was the fast decline caused by the witch poisoning his wound in order to avenge her people or whatnot.
