What he should have said is that books are a superior medium, in that they always have the ability to far surpass any visual interpretation of a story. That doesn't mean that a movie based on some random book is going to be worse than the book, particularly when changes are introduced, but the fact remains that TV shows and movies have a *much* lower ceiling in what can be done. | ||
