It explains why he had to make no hit roll on the fast flying dragon because it was an autohit spell. That's also why he didn't kill the other 2 dragons, that whole grabbing the spear from his horse backpack was all part of the cast animation which was very long ![]() It actually would be hilarious if he would've just murdered all 3 dragons and Jon and Dany. All the buildup for nothing and it's actually Cersei saving the world.

Assume there is the standard escalation and then reduction of an action sequence. Where they start at their peek, but then lose the dragons for some true one on one action. But have no doubt, Jon rides that dragon, maybe to save Dany. Metal cover art cannot be stopped.

If John don't jump of a dragon onto another dragon I will be disapointed.

Great.. The best part was that they had no plan at all on how to catch a wight. It was pure coincidence that there was a small group of wights + 1 ww. And ofc only one wight remains after easily killing the ww. Yes the show is that dumb.

Now he needs to find a way to convince Sansa that Arya needs to be dealt with. Hopefully Arya is smart enough to steal his face pretty soon. I'd rather see littlefinger live then sansa, then you at least end up with an interesting character.

Sansa doesn’t want anyone to have power over her or be the victim of someone else’s bad decision(hence the fear of Jon being just like her father). She just doesn’t express this very well. I also don’t know if Little Finger has played them. Sansa sent Brie away because little finger recommend using Brie to talk to Arya. It is hard to tell if she did that because she doesn’t want to get along with Arya or she just doesn’t want to play into Little Finger’s hand.

yeah dragons look good, but everything is so damn stupid there are too many things to list them all... the fast ravens, Usain "Gendry" Bolt, the chit chat, arya & sansa, the bear bite on the chest, and so on... seeing how fast the wights can run, it's quite a feat they never reached the Wall all the nonsense makes it the worst episode of all seasons for me

The usual reaction to being punchzed with superhuman stength is to be catapulted back and trown against a wall. I am pretty sure that if the force needed for that momentum hits you on the area of a fist, it breaks every bone in that area or simply impales you on that fist. Or the scenes when they get caught while falling by someone coming with equal speed from the side. Superheroes would kill so many people by accident ![]()

But yeah i am not interested in discussing this either, just saying it probably would be unpleasant to fight vs the nightsking in close combat :D

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if there was a retelling of these seasons (similar to Full Metal Alchemist and FMA- Brotherhood), if and when GRRM gets around to finishing the books. This season has been an unmitigated disaster so far and the only way to enjoy it, is to view it as if you are watching a Michael Bay movie.

I agree Martin had probably no clue how he was gonna do the ending when he told D&D, in fact he might still not know all the details since he has (my estimate) about 1000 pages left to write. Agreed on your point about Feasts. It's such a damn amazing book.
