imo the manga pwns the anime i read the manga and its pretty damn far ahead of the anime and damn it gets really really awesome akatsuki fights and their motive, naruto learning a new jutsu thats really fucking powerful and somenoe dies gg T_T if you wana know what happens read the manga narutofan DOT com just sign up and download. its in english | ||

he used a jutsu that has the ultimate sacrifice - death ggnore same as third when he used that shit to try and pwn orochis soul but orochi haxed that shit and only lost his two hands (need someone to help him fap and wipe his ass now, but...) the story for naruto goes a little something like this naruto is a kid who lives in a ninja village and goes to ninja school and asswipes from other ninja villages like to fuck each other up and thats when shit happens and awesome fights take place. done. | ||

And about someone asking "what is Naruto?" Naruto story is the present world as if human could do ninja techniques with their inner power (called chakra). It evolved into a world with for example no fire weapons, or almost vehicles because they aren't needed. Politically the world is divided in countries, each of them having hidden villages of ninjas, to serve and protect, or to raid and conquer. Naruto is an orphan child, rised on the hidden village of Konoha. He has been alone and hatred by almost everybody since he was born, and he does not know why. The truth is that the beloved 4th leader of the village(Yondaime Hokage) found only a way to stop the demon Kyubi (a nine-tails fox) which was destroying the whole country: sacrificing himself using a jutsu (ninja technique) that will trap the demon inside a baby, and this way saving the whole country.When Naruto is aware of this, starts to understand and gets his target in life: surpase the 4th, become the village Hokage, and then be respected and appreciated by their people. After finding out about Obito, it was just a safe assumption for me that Kakashi got his eye from his teammate... somehow. Moving on to other stuff thus far unrevealed by Kishimoto, Naruto being the son of Yondaime isn't that far-fetched really. | ||

HOWEVER, you wrote it as a fact in your original post NOT an opinion  There have been many subtle references but we dont want to assume anything - Kishi has shown that he is a master of misleading people and throwing something in there no one saw coming | ||
