After 600 chapters I would say there is some kind of stablished tone that´s kinda broken with that question. Just seems off to me, like the "lower parts". If it continues with 1 shallow joke per chapter(of this flashback) we have a new pattern. | ||

While this is true, I think the idea behind it was to bring back the "humor" that kishi used to have when naruto was young. When naruto was younger during the early parts of the manga, he had a similar humor to young obito in these flashbacks. I think the point was to draw them both as similar yet turning out as opposites due to factors in their lives. | ||

It's interesting how many aspects of the story are essentially recycled for various people in varying combinations. Nagato, Obito, Haku, Gaara, Sasuke, Kakashi... Naruto. They share so many similarities, yet they all turned out so differently. What events turn a good person bad? What events turn a bad person good? Deep shit man. Maybe Madara was right. The world sucks. | ||

The Mizukage doesn't really seem useless tho. She did after all have Sasuke basically in a corner with no where to go and basically out of power before Obito showed up and LOL left with him. Other then that we really haven't seen much of her. Tsunade basically became a casualty of being useless because her power doesn't scale into the super world of puffed up power. She did have that massive strength thing back when abilities were scaled back and it was relatively unique. Now it seems every other character can punch with the same or greater power (or have some other crazy ability) so the only thing left is her healing and regen abilities. | ||

it's been total bs for so long. for me the most epic has always been the bridge arc, with zabusan and haku. chuunin awesome, sasuke retrieval awesome. i agree, but the bridge arc felt special. when sasuke awakens his sharingan in battle, when you first get a glimpse of the fox, the village that has lost its courage and found it anew... and the conclusion of zabusa and haku was epic. | ||

Likewise is Rin´s death also by "Plot no Jutsu"(unless it is of course some treachery by Madara that causes her death). Maybe the Manga is getting better again and we doubters are all just bitter because of the sheer amount of disappointment in the last 100-200 chapters or so. | ||
