I got the impression that Tobi knows Kakashi quite well on a personal level. In the past 3 chapters he made some comments about Kakashi which leads me to that conclusion. For example, when Tobi told Kakashi to shut up at chapter 597 page 13 and on some other occassions.("You´re just words and no actions, what someone like you says is worth nothing!")
So it´s not completly impossible that Tobi might be a person from his past. To my mind, it´s not even impossible to rule out the possibility that Tobi is Rin or Obito. I know that might sound crazy but it´s Kishimoto we´re talking about. I wouldn´t be surprised if Tobi is Obito... I´m sure Kishimoto would find an explanation for that.

It's not that he didn't have it, it's that we had no proof that he did until this chapter. Until this chapter we had literally 0 proof that he had anything more than the basic sharingan, because kishi specifically showed only tobi's basic sharingan. Now from the last 2 chapters we know he got his eye at the bridge obito died at, that it's actually obito's eye, and on top of it that he actually does have the mangekyo.

I don't think it can be Obito. The 4th fought a grown up Tobi when Naruto was born.

Don't know why people would be so mad if it's Obito. I kind of want it to be Obito, even though I spent the last year or two saying that it can't be him. But if it is him, then we get to see how Kishi explains it. There would have to be a good explanation, since Kishi obviously would have been planning this since he first decided that Kakashi should have a sharingan. But if it's not Obito and just some random guy who took Obito's eye, then the explanation won't be as entertaining imo.

I do agree. It is easier to make up an random story than one that has been perfectly planned for or atleast matches the story from before.
I doubt he planned this story when he came up with kakashi, maybe he had a very vague outlined but not this.... that was like what 8 years ago?

I think you missed the part about inexhaustible. Just becuase Naruto ran out previously doesn't mean the Kyuubi can't give him another infusion. You really think the Kyuubi could deplete all its Chakra like that in one guy? The thing is literally a limitless being of Chakra. It chose how much to give to Naruto, and depending on how much his body can take, it can always provide more.
