What if an Uchiha with a MS could do the Amaterasu, Tsukoyomi and Susano´o, but an non_Uchiha with a MS could do Kamui ? That would mean that Tobi is not an Uchiha. On the other hand, Tobi uses his Kamui without MS, so it can not be the exact same jutsu that Kakashi uses. So it´s probably nonsense, but i thought it was an interesting point. | ||

Also, didn't Tobi give Pain his eyes when Obito was still a child? It was before Jiraya became a teacher to the fourth I think, and the fourth was the teacher of Obito. | ||

Plus when we last saw him use it was a bit ago so who is to say he is getting better at being efficient at using it? Like people have said he might to be able to conserve energy by zwooshing things away at a slower rate. I hope Kakashi is critical in this fight. That man needs more badass thrown in as it was a looong time ago since he has shown any. Plus didn't Kishi say how this year was going to be good for Kakashi? | ||

+ Show Spoiler + while the top three MS jutsus seem to be amaterasu, tsukiyomi, and susano'o, there may still be a lot of user-specific S-techs and MS-techs, like Sishui, who's eyes had unique genjutsu ability that apparently no other set of Sharingan eyeballs in the whole clan had at the time. who's to say that Obito's eyes (hypothetically assuming that Obito is Tobi) didn't have unique space-time jutsu? Of course it's more likely that Kishi just writes in the fact that space-time jutsus like Kamui are a hidden forbidden tech of the Sharingan or something and that all members of the clan could somehow learn it and that Kakashi just happened to stumble upon by sheer necessity of when his MS unlocked. i think this issue definitely adds more evidence to Tobi being Obito, (in addition to the obvious almost anagram name), in addition to the personal jab from 2 issues ago, but that still doesn't solve the of age disparity of when the 9tails attack/naruto's birth took place... unless at the time of obito's supposed death until naruto's birth was all him getting major powerups in the form of mastery of space-time techs and also limited sealing techs for controlling tailed beasts, which is still possible for a flashback to explain... and dammit Kishi does love his flashbacks | ||

anyone remotely trained in writing can spot what is going on here. nuggets of potential are being introduced along side the main "plot." at kishi's whim these nuggets of nothing can be exaggerated to become the main focus of the manga to momentarily make it more "exciting." this is all great for you if you are reading the manga only in the present. and you both didn't read it from the start and don't expect the ending to match the quality of the begining. there is currently a minefield of these turd nuggets that were just left behind. in retrospect 2 years might not even be enough time for him. making any sense of this while tying it all together and not neglecting huge amounts of storyline is going to be a monumental effort. to say the least. definately not something you can do from week to week. | ||

I don't think that obito is tobi, if you look at the timeline, Obito was an underpowered ninja at 13 when he "died" and then a year later he is able to control the nine-tails, has mastered space-time ninjutsu and almost on par with the 4th hokage? that doesn't make sense. Not to mention that he may not have even been alive when nagato got his rinnegan, which kishi drew fairly clearly as developing in a "fight or flight" situation. As far as the dagger hitting tobi in the other dimension, I think that the area that tobi took sasuke is the point of entry to that dimension, I don't think that the alternate dimension mirrors rl. Something to consider is that tobi teleported the statue after kakashi had ripped it apart (it seems that way to me), so teleporting the rest of the statue would make sense in a way to prevent its destruction. It would be interesting if sasuke learned kamui... he is supposed to be an uchiha prodigy. | ||
