This manga is going completely off its roots. It is so frustrating to watch these ridiculous scenes. There's no POSSIBLE WAY that arguably two of the best Sharingan users of all time got trapped in a genjutsu WITHOUT EVEN THINKING TO CAST ONE OF THEIR OWN. Please tell me how Itachi and Sasuke wouldn't be abusing the shit out of Kabuto with genjutsu given their current Sharingan levels. It's not even remotely believable that they would be wounded so quickly in a fight. Now, moving on. Itachi cannot be wounded by that last frame. He can't. No way, no how. Itachi talked about izanami, which has something to do with changing reality or determining the future. He said he had already casted the technique, perhaps giving the illusion that what Kabuto wants to happen is actually happening, when in reality, he's probably completely brain dead from Itachi using his technique, so everything Kabuto is perceiving is a false reality. More over, there's no way possible in fucking Naruto history that Kabuto would move so fast that neither Itachi or Sasuke would notice a physical attack. I can't fathom that based on the physical possibilities and explanations that have come and gone throughout this manga that this would even remotely be considered. If Itachi got hit, it's because he wanted to or didn't care to avoid it because his plans had already been successful. End of story, and I refuse to believe anything else. If someone cares to respond or has some interesting ideas of there own, please feel free to reply or message me since posts tend to get lost in this thread. Thanks! Edit: I also wanted to add that it's been said that Itachi can perform seals so fast that the human eye can't even perceive them. And are we really to believe that they wouldn't expect anything to come out of that snakes mouth? Hell even Sasuke has used this technique. If Itachi's technique was completely reliant on hitting the correct target, why wouldn't they have trapped Kabuto in a genjutsu? This is so frustrating. | ||

I´m worried about the Kunai that Kabuto is holding. It has a piece of paper attached to it. It reminds me of Orochimaru and how he got stronger control of his two summoned Hokages, by using a prayer strip attached to a kunai and putting them into their heads, thereby erasing their personality so he could take full control of them. I think that is Kabutos plan, taking back Itachi. | ||

Itachi and Sasuke have both witnessed this technique several times! And once again, we're dismissing the fact that the Sharingan should be more than enough for them to prevent a physical attack or at least dodge it. I don't see how you could accept that Sasuke and Itachi wouldn't have "expected" that technique. I couldn't think of a more obvious attack to use. I don't mean to come off as attacking, I'm just pointing out the flaws to the story so far. | ||

Neither Sasuke or Itachi have fought someone in Sannin mode. It made Nartuo super fast; if I remember he used it vs Pain and ffs that was rinnegan? So...yea. | ||

I think it was the best time he could have picked, Sasuke was waiting for Itachi, and Itachi was focused 100% on his "I win"-power and the visible Kabuto. I kind of liked Kabutos attack series of using the Sound's Four (looked weird though), and after all his attacks one actually hit. He pushed them with his attacks, forcing them to use Susano and Amaterasu several times, then followed up with a sneaky melee attack when they were closest to finishing their preparations. Meh, I don´t know, might be weird from the story so far but I kind of liked this chapter. Kabuto is a dangerous opponent, now he finally shows it. By growing minibosses from his chest, but still. | ||

Sharingan is genjutsu caused by vision, while the genjutsu that kabuto uses mainly goes through ears through sound, they can't block their ears and he can't be hit by their vision based genjutsu since he has his eyes closed. I don't know why people are bitching on the eye haxx not being too strong, I mean when Izanami finally kicks it people might do that again but geez, people start to want to hate this manga for reasons which really doesn't do the chapter justice.. | ||

wouldnt be surprised if he used Amaterasu to start a cooking fire to grill some food actually lol'd at this big fan of itachi so got a little hit in the gut from that last page but thinking it over it's pretty likely that either he'll regenerate (sasuke prevents kabuto from reestablishing control with the paper tag kunai) or Itachi has already casted his big OP eye spell so that slash was just an illusion or some other OP bs actually as long as the battle continues i'll be pretty satisfied - plz not too much more backstory.....although tobi will probably get like a month worth of backstory when we finally get back to that fight...... | ||
