Oh, and let's not forget, he single-handedly defeated Madara Uchiha AND the Nine-Tails in combat, then captured the latter and sealed it in his wife without having to get rid of half of its chakra. So yeah, First Hokage > all. And it's been a common theme in Naruto that the legendary ninjas were stronger than the modern day ones. Most modern techniques are just the remnants of secret techniques created/discovered by older ninjas. Madaras revelation shakes everything, if he wanted the firsts cells, maybe he was already insanely more powerful then the first and only tricked the first into thinking he won to get his cells It takes that much effort to get some human cells? He could have looked for fallen hairs, skin particles around his house and clothes, heck, a minor scrape will do it.
what do you think Madara is? CSI? you think hes gonna search around his house with gloves and take hair back to his crime lab to check if its the right DNA?

Some pretty golden posts in the last few pages, that made the Chapter. All in all wasn't bad, Sasuke has hope of joining the light side, Madara seems a bit too egotistical but a bamf nonetheless, and the usual "things heating up" mantra. Still a lot to look forward to.
@ForikOrder - Yeah odds are no on Sasuke, but there is some "hope" now, thanks to Itachi telling him straight to his face he's wrong. I expect more discussion in the next chapter or so, so we can see where this is heading.
Ton of battles not just Tobi, Itachi vs Kabuto, Madara vs 1st Hokage(flashback?), Itachi vs Sasuke still possible, Sasuke vs Naruto. Sasuke vs X Konoha member.

i dont think Sasuke will be won over until we get to see a legit one on one fight him VS Naruto
the fight against Tobi isnt one on one theres too many bystanders, one last one on one clash to end the series

why do all these dead people still have their specialty eyes? nagato and itachi should just have sockets, right? can the reanimated ones be transplanted also?
edit: infinite izanagi if the eyes just get replaced?

no if you tear there eyes out theyd jsut turn to ash and there eyes would regnerate inside there heads
and they have eyes for the same reason everyone else has all there abilities cause thats the whole point of the Jutsu

I'd assume once the effects of Edo Tensai are over, all things brought back into the real world would dissipate. Infinite Izanagis sure...until Edo wears off.. or you kill the ressurrected person in where you got the eyes from.

I get the feeling that Madara is bragging. Madara was getting manhandled by a couple Kages plus a Naruto shadow clone before he popped Rinnegan and the Mokuton jutsus. Madara definitely did not have Rinnegan or wood techniques when he fought the first Hokage, nor was he immortal and "optimized".
I really don't think the First had to be particularly strong in order to handle the nonoptimized Madara, if his wife handled the sealing of the Nine Tails during the fight.

One thing about the whole "deevolution" thing with the Kages is that well the 1st I think died of old age and he set the standard. The 2nd was taken out by a unit of elite ninja and isn't really talked about. The third was strong as fuck. The 4th was strong as fuck but he died YOUNG. You have to take that into account when evaluating him because he probably didn't hit the peak of his power (Like he most likely would have finished the rasengan eventually he just didn't have cheat clone training) or perhaps take his flying thunder god to a new level, who knows how powerful his peak would have been. The 5th really is an outlier as they kinda just wanted a name brand for Hokage since Jiraya turned them down and the 5th wasn't primarily a combat specialist so thats why she isn't super kick ass and she kinda fell out of being a ninja since the trauma from her brother (could explain why she lacks the skills of healing that Madara says the 1st had) Naruto will be a worthy successor though power level wise.
