So true -- would Naruto really chase after that guy for a whole 300 chapters just because they were buddies in ninja school? Clearly "rival" and "best friend" are just euphemisms for ... you know. | ||

Gotta say that Naruto is really nice although I'm used to dislike anime overall. I have alot of free time since I finished abitur a few weeks ago and got through all episodes kinda quickly. Kakashi's gaiden episode was incredibly nice. I wish there were more episodes about that time and possibly Minato. Btw did anyone ever tell Naruto some information about his father? I mean that guy was a hero, but Naruto never seems to think about him. The story of Itachi also is really sad x( | ||

I think mangastream's naruto translations are slightly better than onemanga's Um what. Mangastream is the one that has Naruto calling his Mom a babe. In Onemanga it actually makes more sense, with him calling his Mom pretty. Now I don't know what you prefer, but I'd prefer to say my Mom is pretty when talking about her. You may prefer to call her a babe every time you see her. To each their own. As for the latest chapter. Being the last jinchuuriki (or however you spell it) was totally thrown out there. It's just so random, from his Mom suddenly appearing out of nowhere to her announcing what she did. But whatever. You know, I really thought that the 9 tails would turn out like the 8 tails and become loyal to Naruto and talk to him and stuff. Instead, he gets locked up again and is like "I WON'T FORGET THIS NARUTO YOU BITCH." And Naruto is all like "I won't treat you badly." Why? Why can't they just have a nice friendly demon fox like they did with the 8 tails? | ||

And about that last week's episode, lol. There are few episodes with animation that good. On average, Naruto's animation is quite bad. Relative to its other episode, I thought that episode was good.
