Or its just a terrible plothole It doesn't kill the theory. It kind of more clarifies what happens. Madara didn't have the tailed beast to begin with, he somehow was able to summon it out of Kushina. Perhaps we can also find out why Minato said he sealed "Half the Kyuubi's chakra" inside Naruto. Interesting plot revelation! Almost 500 chapters, gj Kishimoto :D | ||

It was speculated that she died during childbirth because, well, newborn son + no mother typically means that. But for all we know it could be some really round about thing like Madara using her weakness in childbirth to pull the Kyuubi out. This would kill her the same way it did all the other hosts. | ||
