It covers both how your enemies and friends see you(usually part of a leadership system as well as diplomacy and intimidation), as well as certain spells depending on your type. Not to mention the obvious perks in trading. Luck and Charisma often end up filling the same slot in RPGs in terms of that "X factor" that influences extra things like the interactions you mentioned. As this seems like it will mostly be a combat series (with some humor) I can see how the author would take the nod towards Luck since it opens up avenues like critical hits and finding rare items (if he chooses to level it that is). Charisma-based diplomacy could have been an interesting route to resolve issues/gain allies but somehow I don't think villains like the summoner would be that easily persuaded. | ||

 I can find a little bit more (Seiken Densetsu 3, Chrono Trigger), especially if I search for those only mentioned.Edit: Dads are more likely to be mentioned than moms by the way, since it seems japanese often let the woman just be a presence in the kitchen of the first house in the game and then you never see her again. | ||

I'm pretty sure he'll get destroyed at some point, and he'll have to combine his OP abilities with hard work to trully be overpowered. I really want to know more about his mother tho. | ||

Not to mention the obvious perks in trading. LUK (Luck) is more of a JRPG thing, and Charisma is more of a D&D-type Western RPG thing imo. I personally prefer Charisma too, but eh :D | ||
