We knew the ATCU was a little extreme and scummy, but they at least had a little nuance. Oh well, maybe this is another bait and switch. Hope so, because this is getting stupidly repetitive.

The episode plodded along getting to where Coulson and others knew Andrew was Lash. Lincoln was a mess this episode, like they needed any extra provocation for Lash, who wouldn't have gone quietly anyway. Daisy got to do something cool and not too OP, though it seemed a bit like a contrived bonding moment for her and Rosalind. I dunno, I just wasn't too into this episode. Simmons watching the sun rise was a nice touch. Fitz was becoming a bit too good, I suppose, so jealous Fitz made a minor appearance.

The May/Andrew stuff was pretty good imo. Ming Na is a pretty good actress.

The only thing that really bugged me is Coulson getting involved with Rosalind. Like, I get that he's human and has feelings, but he's also an Agent and the Director and knows better than to do something absolutely stupid like this. Which is why I think (hope) that he's on to her and is playing her on a level that we haven't seen yet. If this season goes and he just gets screwed over by romance blinding him, I'll be pretty upset. The May/Andrew stuff was pretty good imo. Ming Na is a pretty good actress. James Bond is also an agent and often sleeps with bad girls :D

But i just cant find myself getting excited over hydra. we saw fullscale hydra and what they did but this season we're dealing with Ward and his ghetto hydra, 6 guys in a hangar - watch out world! I'm just so over Ward ugh

And that is what i don't like. What normal missions can daisy still join? Imagine the bank mission with daisy. "Damn busted! Guess I just knock everyone down." We have already seen enough pointless knocking around of normal people. Maybe Ward steals the cure and cures everyone but if it goes on like it has this show is not for me anymore. No disrespect to anyone who still likes it.

I remember that the episode right before Avengers 2 came out, when she finally had control of her powers, she had a cool fight scene running around a room, gunning down like 12 hydra agents, barely using her powers IIRC. So its not like she can't or doesn't do stuff like that anymore.

In the actual bank scene they even play out another option using standard spy stuff and teamwork. And yes Sentenal that scene was cool but she was not as strong as she is now. Still in the same episode she just blows a few guys away like dolls. Also s3 opening scene to compare powerlevels. Now she floats people in the air so flying is probably not far off.

There's always going to be a situation where the best option is talking it out, or not engaging because they might just bomb her from an airplane and you can't force away an explosion or something. Besides, yeah she's extremely strong compared to your average human, but she's still nothing special compared to the other Inhumans. Even if it wasn't Daisy that became a superhero, it was only a matter of time before they would have just recruited one because of course you freaking want the super powers on your side as well.

Like how there is always a waterway when the bad guy gets away from the knight-boat. Sure they want the inhumans. They can have them mostly off camera like deathlok. This show will become like the avengers if it goes on like this. Here is a quote from Joss Whedon at the start of the show. You have to bring a bit of spectacle to it; it's got to be bigger than your average cop show," he said. "But at the end of the day, it's about the peripheral people. It's about the people on the edges of the grand adventures." "The whole point of the show is that even with all these big things, the little things matter," he explained further. "It's about people who don't have super powers. There will be some people with powers, there will be FX, and there will be the spectacle of science-fiction storytelling — but all played on a very human, small level. That's the appeal of the thing." edit: by mostly of camera I mean the time when deathlok was back at shields but away on some mission not on camera until he came back at the end of the season. I'm aware that he was on camera a lot(mostly as part of the bad guys).
