Marvel studios isn't allowed to use any mutants or X-Men while Sony holds the rights. Even Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the new movie will have different backgrounds and reasons for their powers.
I liked this show when everyone hated it and now it's just getting more awesome! Marvel uprising is going to be sick city tying into the captain america movie. Can't wait till next week for the lady sif cameo!

hu since I didn't read any of the comics I actually have no idea what that blue thing could be. must be more fun guessing if you got more knowledge to it.

Well I haven't read the comics or anything, but just reading some bits here and there, the next captain america movie is all about corruption within shield and the marvel series is tying into it already by planting the seeds of shield corruption before the captain america movie comes out.
I hope the clairvoyant isn't a shield insider, I feel like they use that angle way too much in this show. I love the hell out of it, but I always just assume that whoever new they meet in an episode is a traitor. It turns out to be true way too often.
Edit: I may cry if it's the bitchy command of operations chick from the factory infiltration episodes.

Man this show finally starts improving and we stop talking about it on tl. At leas this one won't get weeden jinxed by starting to get really good and falling apart.
1) Find out that blood of blue alien can cure death 2) Run into friendly, cooperative alien, all too willing to give helpful information 3) Ask friendly alien about blue aliens 4) They turn out to be font of information 5) Fail to ask if any have magical regenerative properties 6) Further fail to ask if the blood of said aliens might have adverse effects 7) Hell, even fail to ask whether blue aliens are friend or foe 8) Strike out on own mission with least qualified member of team just to find out information the friendly alien could have easily given.

He might not have wanted her to know, as if he started asking specific questions she would wonder why. Plus it might even be obvious if he asked about regen properties given that they all thought he was dead but is somehow not.

omg that would explain why their "list" has like no one on it...like they kept saying their list was short, when like in x-men first class xavier finds millions of them everywhere, definitely more than a few would slip up or even know to hide and control their powers before shield finds them. I was so confused when they found the pyro guy, like shouldnt they have alot of training with how to deal with all the other mutants they've come across. (or like in this cartoon series ive been watching on tv, i think its meant for kids but its basically how there are bunch of shield super prison cells for powerful villains and such and it breaks up w/e) i guess thought shield would be better equiped to deal with super villains (give how in the avengers nick fury really wanted some weapon to give them a chance vs the bad guys without relying on super heros)

But why not want her to know? She seemed pretty game/uninterested. Pass it off as medical interest if there's any tension.
