Seems like they're investing a bit too much in that and if interpreted like that, it could mean that Baam would win his freedom if he won it all

Just a theory, but I don't think it is that unrealistic.

And when I read Baam being referred to as "goods", I thought something strange was happening. Some very unexpected developments happening in this chapter, and I wonder who Baam is being sent to. Parakewl already ringed out earlier, so I don't think it counts as a victory for him. Might be a draw. To either of the FUG teams (FUG fo rela and incognito FUG ala Tangsoyook). From how I understood it, the only thing that changes is how Viole perceives the situation, and the info came from Emilie might not be too reliable or "final". Look at how Hatsu/Androssi/Traveller ended up asking Emilie for example.. Beta implies that FUG knows that Baam is the prize. I'm guessing "binding" means being able to control the living weapon or w/e they put in him. Actually now that I think about it, didn't they change the rules so that it would be a fight between Anak/Ran? So I have no idea how they decide who wins in this case. Maybe no one does, and the totals they had before this fight stand or something. Or if anyone didn't bet they end up the winner? hmm

Yea, and as we saw before, if it turns out the team isn't quite to FUG"s liking I'm sure Jinsung could pay a visit.

Emile only relays information that others have "taught" inputed into her. http://www.batoto.net/read/_/189523/tower-of-god_v2_ch76_by_the-company

I really hope we don't see FUG again after this arc, but who am I kidding? If you want to focus on the actual tower (and its politics), how do you expect to avoid mentioning FUG and Wolhaiksong?

The obvious point would be connected to Emile, but it could be for any number of reasons. It's because of Koon Haschuling (Blueberry) that he's here. Remember the last time we saw him, he got an intern job to investigate something. Emile must be that something. Good chapter, I can see eventually Hatsu being the first person to have an all Shinsoo sword or something.

However Lero-ro intrigue is passing all around Emile not Baam, I would think he would be spending more time near Baam if he wanted to investigate. Maybe Emile just caught his interest.
