No, this is not a joke/trolling thread. We don't need more filler posts asking if it is. Remember to spoiler season 6 content, and clearly label your spoilers.

I think minotaurs (besides centaurs) were the only magical creatures that weren't in the show yet until now also IRON WILL WANTS YOU ON STAGE Flutterbitch is awesome just like in the season 2 pilot, and Iron Will has been a pretty cool character d'awww ending and The Stare made a comeback. It's really awesome that they keep back-referencing not just season 2 stuff like in the previous episode, but also season 1 stuff. :D Well this episode made up for the lack of FS episodes. 10/10

Good episode, although I think they broke character with Fluttershy being so mean, what she said was on the Discorded-level of meaniness, I didn't think she was even capable of thinking such things without being afflicted by some magic spell. Oh well, it doesn't change the fact that this episode was awesome. Also... did they use some kind of weird 3D at some point when Fluttershy was alone in her house with the lights out? It was strange when I saw it.

It was a good episode, but it isn't what I wanted. Most of the season goes by, and only now do we get a fluttershy episode, only to have her act the exact opposite of fluttershy. One more chance for a real fluttershy episode I guess. What was with the moral? It's ok to seduce people, and it's ok to trick people, but being a jerk is clearly worse than those two? Unless it comes to paying someone for doing exactly what he said he would do, then it's ok to be a jerk.

Fluttershy's meanness was literally Discord level and that was overboard. I loved the moment where everybody wanted Angel eviscerated and obliterated in many different ways. God did this episode make me angry. I said 8/10 in IRC but upon further consideration I'll say 5/10 here. I'd still vote positively in a binary rating, though.

Wasn't as big a fan of this episode as the posters before me. This is one I'd probably skip if I was watching a marathon, and I hate to say that about a Fluttershy episode. It had some great moments, though, and that Mr. T minotaur was awesome. =) Inb4 Pinkie Pie jawdrop .gif

One more chance for a real fluttershy episode I guess. + Show Spoiler + She was her old self for a bit less than the entire first half of the episode. Also I, for one, hope that she'll actually keep the character development in later episodes and will stand up to herself every now and then while still being in character. I like how Jayson Thiessen promised that some character developments will be kept (this one would be interesting to be one of those), while in other cases the characters might be back to square one again, just like how many humans don't learn from their mistakes either.

It was good to see a Fluttershy episode, but as others have said... ...it was a bit too much. Then again, I can't really see how the story could have worked without her acting so mean. Also, my fiery loathing of Angel has been rekindled.

So... it was alright. The episode as a whole was sorta "meh", but it had some awesome redeeming qualities. First of all, there's the simple fact that it's a Fluttershy episode... FINALLY. Second, the characters were GOLDEN in this episode. Rarity and Pinkie were especially fun to watch - I think it's really cool to see some of the ponies interacting as friends more individually like that. Often when it's all six of them you don't get enough of some of each one, so an episode built around just three of them like this can be awesome. I laughed so hard at Rarity's seduction of the nerd-pony. She's incredible. ^_^ Third, this episode was full of the little stuff that makes the show amazing. Stuff like animation details which you might not even notice, or the incredible voice acting. I guess I'm just saying I didn't love the episode, but I love the show and characters so much that it doesn't even matter. :D Edit: TOTALLY forgot to spoiler. Hope nobody refreshed in the 3 seconds before I edited.

+ Show Spoiler + Pinkie and Rarity were encouraging the wrong behaviour but the show was holding them up as right in contrast to the (very lazy) comeback of Flutterbitch. Nothing in the show was about assertiveness, it switched from unrealistic passivity to unrealistic violence. Some of the dialogue was embarassing enough to mute, ponies would not say that. Worse than Mare Do Well which I didn't think was possible, I said if any more + Show Spoiler + Williams eps

I thought the part where Fluttershy realizes what she did was really sad and well done, but the setup did not do it for me. Fluttershy is my favorite pony, and that transformation was way too abrupt. My current theory is that Fluttershy got swept up and carried away in the excitement (explanations like these just let the episodes sit better with me), but it seemed like a fundamentally nice pony would suffer from some more compunctions through the day when trying to carry out Iron Will's training. I thought this episode, like MMDW, had the lead become too much of a caricature, and the episode as a whole had a pretty underdeveloped setup. Then again, I may be reading into this too much, since Fluttershy has always been my favorite pony.

+ Show Spoiler + I thought it was a very entertaining episodes, and Merriwether William's best episode so far. It had a lot of good laughs and Rarity and Pnikie Pie were great throughout. Also Iron Will was a pretty awesome new character, I liked the voice and it sounds so familiar, but I can't remember who it is. I'd put this a little bit below the middle of season 2 so far. Better than Cutie Pox, Mare Do Well, and Hearth's Warming eve and about on par with Secret of my Excess and Family Appreciation Day.

I think she has literally had more screen time this season being a jerk rather than, well, being fluttershy. Or at least it's a lot closer than it should be. And I don't think character development is necessarily good. You need character development when there are only a few main characters, and the same unchanging characters over multiple seasons would get stagnant. But when you have 6 main characters + 3 others to draw from, and can make any combination of them you want, stagnation isn't an issue. If character developments mean small self references like RD reading a book that's cool, but actual personality changes are unnecessary. Also I'm still bitter about derpy. Having a slow pony on camera is too offensive, but taking advantage of a nerd pony (who's appearance is far more stereotypical than even wall eyed derpy) and then laughing about it is fine? Really?
