I'm going to write a massive blog post about my weekend later today, when I've had some coffee. The weekend's definitely been one to remember, my best BlizzCon for sure. Hopefully we can catch the daily live to see if the plan was ultimately successful or not. Also Zeph, what did you LR in IRC yesterday? I'm curious! Oh, and the pictures now have all of the autographs I got! | ||

I was very sincere and the note I attached to the box was just as sincere as well. Day[9] seemed really happy and really excited; I'm pretty sure what I said was at least somewhat moving to him. Mentioning his 100th Daily - how he always said to be passionate about what you love and to spread that passion - was what drove me to do this and walk down the pink isle of a Toys-R-Us to get that gift and give it to him really helped, I think. Who knows what'll come of it? | ||

That doesn't mean we should stop being passionate about it, or enthusiastically trying to help other people understand why it's so cool. There's nothing better than being passionate about something you love. Come to think of it, I think I've heard those words before... It's fitting, in a poetic way. Besides, that isn't even what's happening here, and we're not expecting anything. We just wanted to give Sean a gift as thanks for all the amazing entertainment he's given us over the years, and it was given in the form of a symbol which represents a lot of good things to fans of the show: Friendship, sincerity, honesty, kindness, passion, enthusiasm. If he likes the show, awesome -- hopefully it gives him a lot of smiles and laughs along the way. Consider it an insignificant recompense for all the ones he's given us. But he doesn't need to like it, or ever mention it again. We gave him the gift, and tried in our own way to make him understand why we're giving it to him. Mission complete. Anything else is just a bonus. =) | ||
